Very friendly staff, great location. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was lovley too.
Not enough toast :-)
Great view from the room. Shower was hot and strong. Comfy bed to sleep on. Rio restaurant food was very good!
no remote for TV, which was tiny and high on the wall. WiFi intermittent at best.
Staff were excellent. Large bus party in and hotel was full but staff managed to cope well. Beds were very comfortable and hotel in a great location.
The first room we were given was very small and there was no access to one side of the bed as it was against the wall. The receptionist went out of her way to change it by shuffling things round as the hotel was full. I was impressed.
The staff were pleasant. The room was very comfortable. All our rooms were as there were 3 booked. Breakfast was lovley and the staff efficient. Checking out was easy. Will return. I have family in Dunoon and will be more than happy to stay again.
Staff very helpful, good central location
Bed was a little too firm
Great sea views, lovely building, nice room. Naturally friendly staff whose relaxed but professional attitude made us feel at home.
Would've preferred one double bed to two singles together, maybe four-poster next time!
Only stayed for one night but will use again. We had one of the cheaper rooms and it was warm and clean with plenty of tea, coffee and milk. All staff very helpful and friendly. Great value.
Allstaff were very friendly and helpful .Clean comfortable room and lovely food . Very good value for money ,would definately recommend to friends .
The location is very central and the bar and restaurant have wonderful views overlooking the Clyde.
Parking can be difficult outside the hotel
Hotel facilities closed early on Sunday night about 9.30pm Also, no hotel car parking which leaves you exposed to potential parking fees
The hotel was great and a great location
The lift could do updating as very slow
The room was lovely. Spacious with good views of the Clyde. Excellent bed. Great food in Rio's restaurant.
Old hotel which meant creaky floorboards from outside and above the room.
Friendly staff Rio restaurant food was fantastic
Lift was small and creaky.
comfortable Bed Clean Room Fresh Cooked Breakfast
Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast nice although lacking in quantity
Room a little on the small side
Great friendly service from all members of staff, good value and location. Restaurant Rio was good for breakfast and dinner too.
Only downside was a massive crowd of youngsters who exited the bars at 1am and made a lot of noise in the main street outside our room. Nothing to do with the hotel but unfortunate disturbance.
Good food staff location
Small room 123 hardly room to walk, more like a store room..
shower temp either roasting or freezing
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent. I was upgraded to a super room at the top of the tower with brilliant views
Location and staff
Bed a bit uncomfortable
Food good staff excellent breakfast good over all value for money.
Small room. Window did not open much due to design. Bathroom dated but clean. Not that I needed it but hair dryer was a small folding travel one. Wife was not happy.
Location, Staff, room and food
Noisy drunks passing by outside window, not the hotels fault I know
Location good , view over the Clyde very nice . The master of ceremonies at the wedding reception was very impressive he is very good at his job
The Eastern European lady at the bar did not understand a word of English making it very hard work ordering drinks
We were called by the hotel 2 days before informing us that due to electricity issues we did not have a room. We had been booked for months for a family wedding which was to be held at the hotel. Not impressed.
