Would definately recommend the hotel. Linda the owner is just a lovely person. Was very friendly and helpful. Its location is lovely and very convenient for shopping etc. Will definately stay again ! |

Excellent i would recommend this hotel as its close to both the Town and the Beech. Try the Breakfast as its great value and cooked to perfecction - we will go back. Lynda even posted my mobile charger back as i left it behind. |

Room was pleasantly decorated although could have been slightly bigger. A nice touch was that each room was individually named after a Scottish Island. Linda, the owner was very pleasant & chatty. Good scottish breakfast was served. |

The owner who ran the hotel went out of her way to be helpful. Her tips on travel and places to visit were excellent. I can understand why people who stay there want to return. The breakfast menu was prepared according to each person's requests (no boiled eggs, though) and was quite adequate. The location was only two minutes to the beach and 5 minutes to the central bus station. I had a small single room facing the street which was somewhat noisy at times and the building, being old, did not have fitted doors so that other clients coming in late could be heard slamming doors, talking, etc. I had a bathroom down some stairs on another landing which was supposed to be for my exclusive use which was the reason given for the price I was charged. |

The professional and corteous manner of Linda and her staff, along with a beautiful freshly cooked brekfast Pity I didn't ask for a room with a shower in it, ours only had a bath with no shower head. |

As stated very central to beach and centre of town,linda was very hospitable always making sure that our stay was enjoyable, very comfortable surroundings,breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was sometimes cold although the heating was on, and the shower room was very cold as there was no heating in there, but everything else was perfect. |
