Good price, close to town but not too close, had internet, had parking, comfortable, easy check in and check out.
Everything was slightly less than normal size, the kitchen only had 2 rings, poor noise insulation from other apartments, nowhere to sit to eat inside (folding table and chairs would be good), no list of e.g. local shop/GP/petrol station/restaurants etc.
Great compact apartment, very well located with a great kitchen and washing machine.
The apartment was located in the rear and was difficult to access with a suitcase because there is no proper pedestrian path. I scratched my new suitcase. The smelt was not ok and the housekeeper is not cleaning the apartment very well. The fabric covering the bed was dirty.
Spacious, clean, free parking! Better than an overpriced tiny hotel room!!
A little on the warm side - could have benefited from a fan. No other criticisms! Great appartments.
Quiet and comfortable for our one night stay. Good kitchen, particularly the washing machine was good for us.
No TV. Had a bit of difficulty finding the access and we are not used to not having a person to contact. We managed in the end.
Location, decent size rooms and the kitchen
It has only a washer (no dryer) Low ventilation - most windows cannot be opened
Great Location, reasonably priced, Friendly staff (when contacted by phone)
Hassle free check in and check out and would certainly use again
Lack of areas to hang clothes and put toiletries in the bathroom. A shelf would be handy but other than that all great.
Price was good, but I wouldn't stay again. Kitchen facilities were ok.
The tv was in an awkward position so I moved the sofa to watch it & it was very dirty behind the sofa. There were straggly hairs in the bathroom under the sink. The bed WAS NOT double so my poor Mum slept on the tiny sofa. The bed was so uncomfortable so neither of us got any sleep.
TV too small
Spacious and well equipped for a city studio apartment. Lovely shower room. Secure car park. Great location beside Bute Park and a short walk to City Centre.
We felt that the cleaners could do a better job - the windows were very dirty and also the interior of the chest of drawers which we could not use; but after saying that, the shower room and bedroom/kitchen area were very clean.
Location, parking, architecture
Small en-suite, open flimsy wardrobe, one small mirror, not full length, no power socket near to mirror for hair dryer. Bed not well made, base sheet came off in the night.
Very good and quiet location, apartment had everything we needed. Excellent for short or long stay. (Stayed in Da Vinci Apartment) We can only recommend it!
Nothing, what could possibly bother us from enjoying the stay. Just little things like - windows are a little bit hard to reach even for taller people. But nothing serious
The location, the kitchen
Not very clean the floor, sofa dirty and uncomfortable.
Location Parking Easy access Price
Lack of info re parking & key pick up location
Lovely apartment in a great location close to everything. Would definitely recommend to others visiting Cardiff. Easy parking. Good communication from staff with easy instructions for self check-in made it so easy...thankyou.
The location, the bed, the facilities, the privateness and the tranquil atmosphere.
The batteries in the TV remote were flat. The alarm was set for 7am. Waking us up. The TV surround kept falling off. And the room could do with a lick of paint.
Location. Self catering - well stocked kitchen.
No garden. Lounge TV too small. Shower head in bathroom
Good location and nice rooms
The kitchen facilities
The bed was a bit sagged
Small studio apartment close to the city centre in Cardiff. Good use of space but insufficient room for luggage.
Lack of helpful information regarding getting in to Cardiff and nearest food options for tourists like ourselves. No person on the spot so details for picking up keys came by email several days prior to arrival but as we were on the move with limited data we could not access it. Space in the unit is very tight so no room to put suitcases
Everything about my stay was easy, I was emailed the access code and so arrived, let myself in and chilled out. In te morning I left, job done
As this is self catering it would be useful to know where is local to buy food or go out.
Close to centre Nice picture OK
Small bed Frugal bedding Noisy neighbours No blind in the kitchen so whole flat was light by Tiny bathroom. Towel ring hanging off wall Tatty
Close proximity to Cardiff Castle & Sophia Gardens with access to the Aqua Bus service to Cardiff Bay. Selection of bars & restaurants close-by. Compact apartment with all the essentials provided for a short stay. It is an excellent base for exploring the city.
Noisy neighbours who decided to hold an all-night party until 5am in the morning, but appreciate this is out of the hands of the Artisan Management team.
Could do with a shaver point in the bathroom
Close to city centre with parking. Well equipped and comfortable bed with white fine cotton bedding. Enough coffee, tea bags & milk jiggers for our 2 day visit. Quiet fridge appreciated.
Path of coarse stone a bit uncomfortable to walk on. Would have liked to sit out at the back to enjoy the sunshine. Will try for a back ap. away from road next time.
