Self check in and out, so no disturbance. Quiet, clean apartments.
size of apartment; lighting; heating; facilities; cleanliness; freshness and style of dècor; comfort; location (quiet yet fairly central); security and discretion; ease of access/free parking; choices of budget/upgrades; ease of booking
musty smell in bathroom (possibly from damp under floor); no wifi (or info-pertaining, anyway)
I really liked that the apartment was in a great location and was really good value for money. Also the staff where very helpful
My only problem was finding my other apartment which was round the side of the main enterance which was most probably my own fault lol
Free parking Comfy bed Clean Fine for a short weekend for prices in Cardiff Lovely pub cricketers a few doors along serving good food and drinks at reasonable prices handy re distance from main town
noise from other residents - despite kitchen space could hear noise in bedroom area - bedroom located to shared stairwell so heard every step and door banging as people came and went esp early hours of morning Poor shower pressure Just a bit too far from the main drag
There's nothing negative about this place,it's like a home from home,as soon as you enter it feels homely.Would defo recommend to stay here than in a hotel its cheaper than some Cardiff hotels and has more facilities than them also!!! Fully fitted kitchen, living room, awesome shower and 1 of the most comfortable beds we've slept in!!! Will defo be coming back here
The location is excellent, close to city centre and some other suburban shops which had some first class dining. Parking is a squeeze but it is a blessing to have off street parking. The room itself was large enough for two people with some good storage space. The facility was quiet enough..
When we researched this accommodation is stated it had washing facilities .We needed this after two weeks of travelling through the UK. It was the only one we found in Cardiff. Whilst it did have this we also expected a clothes dryer of which I have had in many places all over the world. We used the oil heater to dry our clothes. I am 183cm and my feet were hanging over the end of the bed. This was the smallest bed of our three week trip to the UK. One set of linen and towels for five days unless you take the service once a week. I preheated the oven to warm up some food and when I opened the oven the room filled with smoke because the oven was dirty. Could not believe the smoke alarm did not go off. The TV, I have a computer monitor twice the size of the TV in our room. We seriously considered moving to the Holiday Inn around the corner and forgoing the charges. In hindsight I should have done this, at least I would have had a larger bed. Anyway, hence the title of this review. I have no idea where a score of 8.3 came from, maybe from people that stayed there for a couple of days.
Loads of space, great location, away from the road, everything you could need
The location is great - walking distance to Cardiff centre, shops, park, cafes and restaurants etc etc. The accommodation and service is great too.
Wifi, location and facilities all very good!
Myself and my partner both thought this was fab, and I really cannot understand any negative reviews considering what we paid. You get into the apartment via a code system to get your keys, this was all very self explanatory. There was a number on hand should there be a problem, I called as I had the wrong code, and the man I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. On entrance (the hallways)the place looked really smart, and the studio was easy to locate. (the building is not huge). The studio itself is the size of a large hotel room, maybe not as big as it may seem in the pictures, but still spacious enough. All equipment you would need for self catering is there, with tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, and a tv. The bathroom isnt huge, yet not cramped, and is well decorated and warm. The view wasnt anything, however if you had an apartment on the front of the building, you'd get to look onto a victorian street in a quirky part of town. We had no problem with noise... All in all, a really great little find that I would definitely use again as I regularly stay in the centre of cardiff..
I can not think of anything negative :-)
Close to city centre, easy to check in, late check in/out, everything you need for a night's stay. Basic but comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
Tea bags had strange taste - think they'd been kept too close to the kettle! Very minor criticism though.
The location was quiet while still being in walking distance of everything, the room was clean and comfortable, and for the price it was fantastic
The only issue we had was with the bathroom -- when you turned the sink on the pipes made such a racket and the shower kicked on a bit
clean and tidy, everything there to make meal. if you book at discounted reates excellent value for money. near the city, great parking. Have stayed at apartments a number fo times.
no toilet roll left. not a problem, as near the town and able to get one.stayed in different apartments, some do not have enough storage place for clothing if you are staying for more than 1 night.
Location is good. A little walk to the city centre but it's a nice walk through the park. Nice pubs along the same road. Overall, decor was good and well equipped. Self check-in was easy and hassle free. Cleanliness was good and would stay here again.
Unfortunately there was a bad smell from the drains in the bathroom and with it being a small apartment, it wasn't ideal. I guess it is an isolated issue that can be resolved though. Bed was a little uncomfortable and that room could easily fit a king size bed rather than a double.
The instructions for arrival were detailed and clear, making it simple to park, find the apartment and get settled. Room was generously sized and had TV, wifi and cooking facilities.
Kitchen wasn't particularly well stocked - there wasn't a can opener and most of the pots were without lids. Shower wouldn't warm up and had very low water pressure.
My room faced the rear of the buildingso was pretty quiet. It was a nice size and had everything I needed. I liked not having to see anyone when I arrived or departed
Took me a while to find out how to "check out". How do I get an invoice now?
Bathroom needs attention
Even though the room was small, everything you could possibly need was there. A great place to stay.
Nothing not to like
Small but lovely apartment... Perfect for an overnight stop
Stayed in December and there is no central heating as such, just an electric wall heater... Freezing in an understatement!
Close to city centre. Nice little place
Mold/damp in bathroom let it down. Bathroom could do with some new features.
hot water cupboard
Excellent location and excellent ease of service.
Very noisy studio apartment
The facility is great you have everything you need in one room. They even provide tea and coffee
Unfortunately on this occasion i didn't like the bed it felt as if it was on a slope with both of us rolling to the centre! and very soft so not comfortable at all.
A very homie apartment really happy with our stay would stay there again! Thank you
Bathroom had a lot of cobwebs, quite disturbing whilst taking a shower.
