For its location (not near anywhere in particular! Or nice countryside!) we live nearby so we know the area, it is particularly well decorated - excellent room and very good food/wine

Rooms too small

We stayed at the hotel for a family wedding. The reception was well organised and the staff very friendly and approachable. The hotel was stylish but not intimidating. We felt comfortable. It was well laid out with a bar area next to the reception room so you could move between the two rooms but not miss out on anything. There was a lovely atmosphere.

The staff were wonderful especially Debbie on reception who (dispite who should have finished her shift) sorted out lighting problems because of lack of bulbs. The hotel itself if beautifully decorated and the wedding venue beautiful. Wedding food and hotel breakfast very good. Again serving staff absolutely lovely. Well done. A classy hotel in a very rural location.

We had three rooms between our family and found that we constantly had problems with lighting as bulbs were not working. However the reception sfaff were very good and replaced them when we asked, however we kept finding more and more out and could spend our whole weekend messing about with lights. Talking of which the main light and bathroom light switch were all the way down a corridor by the main room entrance, which meant going down a step to reach the switch to walk back in the dark - ok for us, but would not have been for an elderly person who needed to use the loo in the night - a real health and safety issue guys, how hard is it to put in light switch on a wall?? I would ask that staff 'move' noisy guests away from the courtyard after the bar has closed, both nights we were really badly disturbed by revellers until 4am !!! really annoying, a word from a member of staff may have jollied them along to somewhere indoors or elswhere away from open bedroom windows - I estimate that 10-12 rooms must have been affected, and because of this reason I would not want to use that particular area of the hotel to sleep in again. Others in our party who were in a different part of the hotel were unaffected however.

Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Location was ideal for my business trip.

No bathroom curtain/blind in the room I stayed in. Although it had frosted glass with a room on the ground floor it felt very strange.

I would definatly go back the bed and pillows are very comfortable with a big flat screen tv to watch. Restaurant is of a high standard too.

Friday the music is loud with a heavy base beat. I couldn't get to sleep until well after midnight! Excellent hotel if you don't have to be up early over the weekend, not so good if you need to be up at 6am on a Saturday.

The quality and lceanliness of the rooms

Service over dinner was particularly slow

We needed to be near Immingham Dock and therefore the location was excellent. Staff were very efficient but this did not detract from their freindliness or time spent with their customers. I'd recommend the hotel and when in Immingham area will stay there again.

We chose the Hotel for location to Immingham Docks. Unfortunately the presence of the refinery etc may put people off however the Hotel overcomes the location.
