Bed was very comfortable.spacious room. Good breakfast. Personable, professional staff.
Great quality for the price. High standard of decor, friendly staff. Highly recommended.
very convenient for visiting LOR food excellent - duck and haddock
I booked a room for my fiance and I and a meal in the restaurant to celebrate my fiances birthday. We had an executive room which was clean spacious and immaculately presented and very comfortable. We had a lovely meal the menu had some excellent choices and the food was cooked to perfection. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
Breakfast selection was good and the staff were friendly.
Lift was broken but luckily there was only one floor to go up. The hotel did offer to help with our bags if needed though. It's a shame the oil refinery was so close, but this can't be helped.
The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpfully and pleasant at all times. The food was excellent.
No spa facilities.
Enjoyed the food, very nice, also the staff was very nice.
The bed was not very good, needs a new matress!
The staff were very rude when we had to inform them our key card wasn't working and then at 12 midnight we were woken by bubbling noises coming from the bathroom and found there was drainage flooding up from the bath plug with human waste and the smell was horrific we were told after informing a member of staff we must have blocked it (which we positively didn't) and to put up with it till the morning, everything about the whole hotel was dirty and no value for money whatsoever, me and my husband are very disappointed
Well appointed hotel with friendly staff and decent restaurant.
Standard rooms, although comfortable have a TV the size on an amoeba. Food was a bit pricy, but good!
Very good food. Lovely garden / courtyard. Comfortable bed.
The oil refinery! Made the surrounding area a bit smelly at times but it's very well hidden from view.
Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Evening meal pleasant, and reasonable. Very quiet even though wedding was on. Good disabled loo, very clean.
Toilet seat in bathroom came off twice. Also toilet seat in one cubicle very loose. Safety hazard with disabled guest! Cooked breakfast only warm.
V. Clean & comfortable. Evening meal good. Did not have breakfast.
Bar noisy; kept me awake.
the comfort of the room and in particular the bed. the size of the room and the bathroom. the location. the easy parking. the breakfast as we are veggies was one of the best we have had. presentation and taste great as well as the choice of cereal, juice, fruit, yoghurt, toast and hot drink. couldn't fault the choice at all.
only that there was a hiccup on communication regarding soya milk and that was remedied and that there was little mould on the bath/tile area which we brought to the attention of a staff member which was going to be address immediately.
Great hotel, really easy to find and really good size room! breakfast was brilliant.
Friendly welcome and great food
Good food and friendly staff
The food I had in the hotel restaurant was excellent. Well cooked and presented
The restaurant staff could do with a bit more attention to detail, possibly through training. I had to keep asking for things even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. E.g. I asked for a jug of table water which was brought without glasses and had to wait ages for them. I asked for the wine list and had to wait ages for my wine order to be taken. These are minor irritations but did spoil the overall dining experience.
Great decor, comfortable modern room with everyhting you would expect of a well thought our hotel. Both the evening and morning menus were very good witha good choice of fish options (as you would expect from the Humber area).
Location is not idea. Near to a Petroleum refinery, there was a constant paraffin taste on the back of your throat whenever you were outside. That being said it wasn't in the rooms or the main hotel lobby and dinning room.
Stylish modern rooms
Poor lighting Overpriced food Very poor WiFi Majority of staff - lack of friendliness and professionalism Inadequate response to maintenance request
The staff are really friendly and helpfull
Virtually no cold water from the tap! Given a disabled room with wet room for the bathroom. Wish I'd been told before as not a fan of the wet room set up.
Nice atmosphere in the bar and restaurant areas. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Good shower.
I had a nice room but light switches for room and bathroom were in the wrong place and no light for shaving. I ordered Game Pie for dinner which was a bit dry sadly and on the small side for a main meal. Will still give it another try though.
Service; food; bed; shower.
Small bedside lights that invariably don't work.
Clean facilities Friendly staff Comfortable bed
There is no cheap option for a single room. My room for one person was only the breakfast price different to that of a double room with two people staying.
I have stayed at this hotel before and the rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The waiting staff are very good and the breakfast was excellent.
The prices at the bar rival those in London., £3.80 for a bottle of beer!
Near Powerstation I was visiting
