L'unica cosa positiva è stata la vista sul golfo e la spiaggia ,ma pioveva e c'era la nebbia.....

L'hotel non corrisponde per nulla all'aspettativa della prenotazione.Lontano dalla spiaggia e da qualsiasi altra attrazione,su una strada ad alta percorrenza. Stanze piccolissime ,bagno invivibile,colazione scarsa e personale poco disponibile. Sembra una pensione di campagna e non un hotel 4 stelle.

Within easy reach of St Ives, along the coastal path or by train. Good parking facilities, very nice breakfast room.

Bedroom a little tired, very small en suite

Friendly, cheerful, relaxed atmosphere. Helpful, charming staff, except for one waitress at breakfast who seemed hassled and brought toast with nothing else 10 minutes before breakfast arrived. Breakfasts were excellent and pub grub good.

Not sure I understand the distinction between what one didn't like and a complaint. These are more constuctive suggestions than complaints. The shower was complicated to use and we had to ask for assistance. A notice explaining how it worked would have been helpful. There needs to be somewhere to put the soap other than the floor in the shower. A soapdish fixed to the wall would have been great. The bar was cold and lacked atmosphere.

Wi Fi was poor. Breakfast for vegetarians was a concept staff seemed unable to grasp

The staff seemed friendly and the hotel was generally clean.

I thought the breakfast was poorly cooked and a little disorganised. The "seafood restaurant" also left a little to be desired in my opinion judging by the menu, although I did see scampi and chips listed...

The principal advantage of the hotel was the dedicated parking space.

1. There was no internal access to the hotel from our suite which meant that we had to go out in the rain. 2. There was no internal telephone to contact staff either routinely (fixing light bulbs) or in an emergency. 3. During the week stay, the only change to the menu was the soup (once). 4. Waitress service in the restaurant was very poor and slow.

Excellent restaurant staff and evening dinner very good.

Poor ventilation in the room and not possible to open window

Very small bedroom with sloping ceiling on which we regularly banged our heads.Tiny bathroom.

Staff very friendly,helpful and efficient. Good food.. nice clean surroundings and decor. One of the best hotel experiences we have had in UK.

Dont book this hotel if you want to stay in St Ives, it is a 10 mins bus journey away

The best thing about this hotel is its personnel. They are very friendly, helpful and make you feel at home. They've got quite a nice restaurant and outdoor terrace

The hotel is actually quite far from the Carbis Bay - 15 min. Walk down the steep slope (especially appreciated on the way up)

A lovely stay. Staff were attentive without being overbearing. Room and breakfast were very nice, parking was easy
