Room was very small ,Bathroom very small.I Would have struggled in the room had I been staying for more than 1 night

The food in the restaurant was excellent. The evening meal in particular, although my only comment was that although the meal was "two courses for £15" 2 of the 3 options incurred a £5 surcharge, but I suppose it gave the impression of the meal being cheaper.

Basic hotel, made generally comfortable, considering they advertise hire of dvd when asked the selection hardly existed

Hard to put a finger on it but we found much better for considerably less ,considering they advertise hire of dvd when asked, the selection hardly existed.

The staff seemed friendly and the hotel was generally clean.

I thought the breakfast was poorly cooked and a little disorganised. The "seafood restaurant" also left a little to be desired in my opinion judging by the menu, although I did see scampi and chips listed...

Friendly staff, good atmosphere in the bar. High levels of hygiene in all areas. Great breakfast.

Location, for some reason I thought the hotel was near the centre of St Ives, my error. We felt a little isolated due to location, however, there is a good bus service.

Dont book this hotel if you want to stay in St Ives, it is a 10 mins bus journey away

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a nice terrace/seating area out front. The views from the front are beautiful. It is in a good location, very near Carbis Bay.

The bathrooms were absolutely tiny and the water pressure in the showers was very low. Rooms could do with a lick of paint. We stayed in an economy room first night which was very small, but a family room after which was a good size although the double bed seemed very small.

The owner and all staff are lovely people, the food in the restaurant is fantastic, both included breakfast and evening a la carte, I will never stay at this hotel again but I will visit the restaurant and bar.

We stayed at the smallest room I have very payed 100 quid for, on a hotel 2miles off center. We could barely walk around the queen size bed and I’m a normal 13stone guy. The bathroom door could only open ½ because of the bed and the ceiling was covered in mould. The “ view “ was the fire escape staircase - horrible.

I wasn't at the Atlantic for long. However I very much enjoyed my stay. The staff were fantastic. In particular a member called Jo. She was brilliant! She always had a smile upon her face and a willingness to be of help. On check out there was a slight problem with the card machine. However no problems seemed to phase her and the issue was rectified quickly, efficiently and again with a smile. Thank you Atlantic hotel for a very pleasant stay with special praise for Jo!

The view is great. The hotel looks the part, nice looking restaurant, nice looking lounge and bar. Rooms look nice.The lady on reception was very pleasant and the lad at the bar and in the restaurant was very pleasant, but they werent always there and the reception was always manned.

The level of the music in the restaurant and the bar/lounge. We had to ask for it to be turned down in the restaurant on our first morning at breakfast. You couldnt hear yourself talk, let alone think! We were at the tail end of the breakfast sitting and there was only 1 lad who seemed to like very loud music as it was him in the bar each time we went in. The lounge was lovely and we would have liked to have stayed and had a drink there and perhaps a snack each night but the level of noise drove us out. Also there seemed to be a small childs birthday party on Saturday night and that added to the level of noise. Monday morning everything seemed more muted and there seemed to be more and different staff around. We got the feeling that the normal (in charge) staff where not there at the weekend. We also found the beds incredibly hard and uncomfortable and thus all had very bad nights sleep. We also had someone come straight into 2 of the rooms when they were looking for a leak. One of the guests wasnt dressed and the girl had to be stopped from barging into the bathroom/bedroom. She seemed very impatient about waiting for the gentleman to get dressed. The other guest was asleep on her bed when they just entered her room. A leak is understandably important but a bit more courtesy would be nice.

It was a lovely comfortable, spotlessly clean hotel & the beds were very comforable. The staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant menu was a bit limited but the food they did serve was excelent. The bar area was very nice with comfy, sofas as well as tables and chairs. I would recomend this hotel to anyone.

Not very well situated for the little town of St Ives bay as it was too far to walk but the buses are very regular. The car park is opposite the hotel but it's not very well sign posted and easy to miss.
