1st room, bathroom wall tile grout was filthy. remote was sticky. rooms needed tlc

Most staff were friendly and helpful. This would exclude the breakfast room staff and the room cleaning staff unfortunately. Were it not for the front staff and the porter staff, our stay would have been most hideous.

The hotel was in very poor condition and, in my opinion, did not rate the 3 diamond/star rating. Everything was run down and in need of immediate upkeep and/or repair. Ceilings were peeling and crumbling, the rooms and furniture were shabby and, for the most part the whole hotel was a miserable excuse for a guest lodging. I would not consider staying at the Averard Hotel again in the future.

Conveniently positioned near Lancaster Gate tube station, this hotel is very near Hyde Park and a shortish walk from Oxford Street and the West End. Staff were friendly, pleasant, helpful and relaxed.

It's not really something that I did not like but this is clearly a building which had a grand past and whose glory has faded somewhat. I am quite happy with that - and would describe it as character.

Vloerbedekking kapot, gordijn kapot. Wij hadden een bevestiging, maar de receptie had onze reservering niet! Aanvankelijk had men geen kamer voor ons!

Uformel easy-going stemning/holdning hos personalet.Slidt, men smukt gammelt hotel. Glimrende morgenbord med god (stempel)kaffe (tydeligvis forbedret, efter nogle tidligere gæsteanmeldelser). God beliggenhed, tæt ved eksprestog til Heathrow, Underground og busser. Dejligt kvarter med gode restauranter og kaféer.

Il suo stato attuale che è cadente, fatiscente, lenzuola usurate, materassi a molle molto allentati, bagni puliti ma antiquati e spesso rotti, personale distratto e sciatto nei modi. Il servizio dei taxi dall'albergo è truffaldino (non si indica che non si tratta del servizio taxi ufficiale ma di altro, privato e molto costoso), la ricarica sulle telefonate locali altissima rispetto altri hotel
