Ease of access to city centre. Breakfast was very good. Staff were polite and efficient. Our room was cleaner than the one we had on our previous visit.
The staff were very friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent and the room was lovely location was really good as well
The only fault I could find was the mattress on my bed was a little lumpy and I could feel the springs although this was not enough to keep me awake
Staff were very welcoming and efficient. Location and free parking.Breakfast quality and service excellent.
The hotel was very comfortable and our room was very good, the bed was huge. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant.
The room our friends had did not have any hot water from the basin and no water at all from the shower for the 2 days we were there. They had to wash in cold water as they were told nothing could be done. They did get a reduction in their room rate.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable
Due to ongoing building work there was no hot water for part of our stay. When this was fixed the water pressure was so low it made using the shower almost impossible. The staff were very apologetic and we did recieve a partial refund on our bill.
Cheerful receptionist lounge area comfortable. location neat garden
Is not four star. room decor very tired, holes in wall where previous fixings were. request for a morning paper declined. breakfast very average and rushed. left to struggle to carry luggage out while staff watched. small tv for size of room refreshments in room limited
This hotel was just what we wanted for my birthday weekend .So near to the christmas market.Park for our car.Although next to a busy road no noise at all .
Room was excellent, staff attentive and great breakfast.
Nice breakfast, pleasant staff, good view.. And unforgettable wonderful Bath!)
It is just nice, but no way a 5-star hotel, unfortunately( The price made me expect more so I was very disappointed( A tiny room, no slippers, no toothbrushes, peeling paint in the bathroom. I guess the double rooms are better than the twin one where we stayed, but if they are called 5-star, they have to meet the requirements in any case.
Friendliness, cleanliness, efficieny. Areal pleasure to stay there. We will certainly return!
There was a lovely view of the abbey from the bedroom. The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was good. The hotel was within walking distance of Bath.
We had an attic room so it was rather cramped.
This is an excellent hotel 10 minutes from the centre of town. We stayed in a deluxe room with a 4 poster bed and all the facilities. Breakfast was excellent and the staff could not be faulted.
The room was sapcious and the staff very friendly. The location was great with a short stroll to main attractions. The breakfast was fantastic. Hotel parking was a main factor in choosing to stay.
Staff, Breakfasts,Bar Service,View of the Rotary firework display.Parking
The beds were on the small size
Quality of food at breakfast.
Very dated, peeling wall paper etc. Bathroom not at all appealing.
Our room was beautiful the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, the bedding was top notch, just wish we had another night! The breakfast was outstanding. Excellent.
absolutely nothing not to like, infact booking for parents in the New Year.
This is the fourth time I visit the Ayrlington. The English breakfast is copious and the staff friendly.
The owner has changed and the prices have gone up significantly but the hotel has stayed the same. The room 3 -Zen is on the side of the house and the bathroom needs renovating.
Lovely rooms including super breakfast
Bathroom could do with a little updating but nothing negative to say
Good breakfast, beautifully furnished rooms, lovely garden, within walking distance of everything. Lovely staff, very helpful. Like staying at someone's house.
The staff were so friendly and very helpful . Great breakfast and an amazingly great mattress so sleeping was a joy
walking distance to sights in Bath.
Staff very friendly , good location , very clean and great breakfast
Lots of stairs - no lift or porter . Noisy from traffic if room at front of house - choose a garden / back room
staff - both at reception and during breakfast (which was delicious)
The breakfast, views of the gardens and town, room ambience
Car parking, spaces need to be marked, had difficulty opening the car doors when parked.
