When we stayed it was for 2 nights 1 day, It was quiet the staff were very helpful. I loved the breakfast plenty to have. The room was spacious and comfy.
We had a quiet time but I saw they had a hall attached to the hotel where weddings were held at times so could possibly be noisy.
Location. Room was good value.
Food was very average (chef on holiday?) and in my opinion, expensive.
such a warm friendly feeling.
Lack of wifi in rooms, small television
The Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a hassle free stay, nothing was to much trouble to help their customers, the cooked full breakfast each morning, and meals in the restaurant were excellent. Can not fault Staff or the Food.
After over a 4 hour drive, our first night was badly disrupted due to 2 separate parties going on till the early hours, wish we were pre-warned of this on our arrival, so we could of planned our night better. Comfier mattresses and pillows would also be an improvement.
Lovely room with jacuzzi bath. Room facilities very good. Staff friendly and helpful.
Food in the restaurant was a bit dull, well cooked but not much originality in the menu.
the en suite which was just a cupboard with little room and no privacy. we asked for a quiet room ad had one by the road with tractors and motor bikes parading on it. thre was little space in the room and it was not commensurate with the fee.
Staff were polite and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable as was the hotel. A bit out of the way, but worth the drive.
A bad smell in the hotel when we arrived at teatime and lasted till morning. That's the only gripe we had.
Caitlin at reception was very helpful and friendly and made sure our stay was 1st class.
The breakfast cook who shouted at another member of staff for bringing our toast to the table.
I liked the setting, I'm fortunate as I also know the area very well. The staff were very accomodating when they were servicing the rooms as I was going to a wedding so need a bit longer than normal.
The room was quite small and the bathroom poky, when I arrived there was no hot water from the tap although that was rectified by the time I returned that night. I also thought the breakfast could have been a bit more imaginative given the locality and things on offer in that area e.g freshly baked bread not sliced from a supermarket.
Viv welcomed us with a complimentary afternoon tea, a great touch. Our room was spacious, well equipped and spotless. Room rates and restaurant prices very reasonable.
Hard to find if you don't have a good navigator or GPS.
very friendly, excellent food,
Its a nice polite hotel and very quite
The location is a bit off the open track, could do with more directional signs on main road.
The room was very spacious and the bathroom too
The staff were very friendly and warm, and they had a good selection of breakfast. The English breakfast is made to order when you check-in if you need one, and I've had one of the best hash browns and beans in the recent past. The rooms were spacious, we took a family room that sleeps 5, and the bed and linen were of decent quality. Would definitely recommend.
The WiFi signals are weak and I could hardly access it. Our room was on the far end of the hotel, that could be one of the reason.
The staff were lovely and friendly . Breakfast was wonderful lots of choice and you could help yourself to many things yogarts fruit toast juice coffee tea whilst your hot breakfast was being freshly cooked. A beautiful breakfast room lots of tables (no need for sharing) The room was large with private access with own patio area so lovely and private.
We enjoyed our stay but there were a few things that would easily and without great cost made it better: The bedding was on the cheap side - l would expect feather pillows and 100%cotton bedding for the price of the room. In the morning there was only 2 tea bags and 1 milk for a family of 4 . l would expect enough milk &tea for all guests to have a hot drink in the morning. The bathroom fitting were old and could be cleaned better. The seal to shower door full of green mildew....this can easily be removed and cleaned . The cup for holding tooth brushes hadn't been cleaned in some time. The temperature did drop the evening of our stay so it would have been nice if we could have controled the heating from our room but we couldn't turn it on.
Most everything. Food, staff and a great Welsh breakfast at 7 a.m. prompt. Welsh speaking area so an opportunity to practice the language. Excellent Wi Fi. Good location, glad to have found the Baltic Inn.
We were made very welcome, good food, nothing was too much trouble, great bed, lovely breakfast, and a fabulous stay all round. We will certainly stay there again, loved it.
Nothing, it was our best ever stay away
Friendly, spacious airy room, excellent food
Limited breakfast options
Friendly staff, nice room and good breakfast. Overall good value for money.
Mattress very soft. A bit of a mix up when we arrived with our booking but no major issue.
Friendly, comfortable and good food
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was fairly good in quality and presentation.
No bath mat available. As the hotel caters for wedding parties etc., we were unlucky to have a room overlooking the party happening on our first evening so a noisy night ensued.
Friendly staff. Upgraded to the Bridal Suite, nice big room out on the car park.
Bed was too soft, and the pillows were well used and too hard. TV was too small for the room, unable to see it properly if you sat on the bed. Poor signal for some TV channels and problems receiving Wi Fi . Biggest complaint was the bathroom - large bath but with just a hand held shower head and no fitting to place it on the wall. Bathroom fixtures were dusty and there was bright red lipstick on the cup in the bathroom, obviously not been cleaned properly after last guest. Good choice of food in the restaurant but not very well cooked. Prawns were ok, but sirloin steak was tough, even though requested medium cooked. Chicken dry and overcooked. Bread and butter pudding was tasteless.
A really great welcome from the hotel. It's located in a lovely part of the world, not far from Llanelli and the M4. All good facilities for business or pleasure. Diolch yn fawr am y croeso.
