We used Walkington as a stop off for an overnight on our way to a weekend at Bridlington. The village is lovely, it has a choice of 3 pubs, The Dog and Duck, The Ferguson Fawsitt and The Barrel. A steady easy walk into Beverley can be made from the village, it is a 2.5 mile walk along well maintained footpaths. Taxis can easily be obtained in Beverley if required for the trip backRichardUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Whilst we were there the weather was perfect, travelled around the local area taking in the sights, Beverley was interesting, nice to be able to go into the cathedral. Not too far away from the coast.
