Comfortable and pleasant room and good bathroom. Restaurant facilities were excellent and very good value for money.

Walls were a bit thin so at busy times noise may be an issue. Also, some more signage at main road would be helpful.

Warm welcome,nice room. Although we had'nt booked a table at the restaurant which was very busy the Manager soon found us a table and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal, very reasonably priced. Staff in both the Hotel and restaurant were very friendly and efficient.We would definitely stay again if in the area and can recommend The Barns.

We stayed for one night to visit a nearby venue. The staff were very freindly and helpful, they found and printed off directions to the place we were going. The next morning arrived late for breakfast and it was still no trouble, the full english breakfast was really good, lots of food and well cooked. The rooms were tastefully decorated and clean. Family freindly restauraunt and cosy bar.

The hotel reception isn't staffed all the time and you have to keep going in to the resteraunt to ask for someone to help you in the hotel, although staff were happy to help.

Everything - welcoming, good food, clean and comfortable. We stay here as its close to family and easy access for travelling

Staff were friendly and organised. Evening meal was amazing food was well presented and very tasty. Hotel room was clean and tidy with lots of parking available.

Breakfast buffet was poorly staffed, ran out of items and had to ask staff to restock glasses, plates, cutlery and food. Although this did not spoil our stay.

A non-slip bath mat in the bath would have been useful as the bath was quite slippery when showering

The room was very comfortable and spacious. We had a good nights sleep there. We would be happy to stay again.

Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast

Comfortable room, good en-suite, clean and inviting. Lovely restaurant / bar, friendly and efficient staff. We only stayed overnight - including breakfast - which was first class. Food was well presented, large portions and freshly prepared to a high standard. We looked around the rest of the hotel whilst there and would very likely use this venue for a private event in the future. There were many reviews available to read - all positive experiences.

Just be aware that you have to walk across a small courtyard from the hotel bedrooms to the restaurant - which could be awkward if the weather is bad.

Everything, my special diet was very well catered for and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and the towels were the best. A great place to stay, will go again.

Since we stayed last it had been given a much needed lick of paint and was back to the previous standard we have seen. Staff were friendly and helpful.
