The location just outside the lodge of Longleat House is wonderful. The old world charm great. All staff were helpful and friendly and Jamie was very enthusiastic about everything. The pigletts in the rear garden were an added feature. The breakfast was perfect and the best black pudding I've tasted with sausages& bacon superb. The climb to our room could have been a problem for some so suggest advise if stairs are a problem. Wonderful place - loved it.

Location close to Longleat Safari park. Beautifully decorated rooms. Excellent staff. The bed was not very comfortable and the radiator made loud noises in the night.

The location was exquisite, views breathless. The staff were so helpful, friendly and professional. We visited Longleat manor house & the Safari for my husbands 50th birthday both of which we can highly recommend an excellent experience & only minutes away from the Bath Arms. The decor is kwirky with themed rooms connected to The Manor with The Peacock room, the Karma Sutra room The Little sparrow. The food in the restaurant gives you a choice of a' la carte or bar menu, the food was amazing particularly from the A'la carte. As a couple we found the Bath Arms perfect but I feel it more adult friendly, not really for children. The only negative comment would be the bed in the Peacock room was very uncomfortable. The were no springs under the mattress the mattress is placed on hard board, we were left feeling like we had slept on the floor. The furniture is very decorative but the chairs in the room were a feature not comfortable to sit on. My husband wanted to sit and read his news paper but had to purch on the bed to do so. Our stay at the Bath Arms was very enjoyable but it could have been more comfortable in our room.

Our 2 day stay at the Bath Arms was good . The staff were very attentive and the breakfasts superb. Both rooms were very similar in decor and standards although we booked a twin and a superior double. The rooms were not in the main hotel but a side annex and did not appear to match the advertising material. As a smoker they were ideal as the door opened directly onto an outside courtyard with pleasant views and loverly piggery with 10 small saddleback pigs! The advertised WIFI didn't work and there was no '3-mobile' reception whatsoever which was a bonus!!! Food great, staff attentive, location for longleat fantastic. Went during the Easter break - hotel full as you would expect. A bit pricey in some respects but we all had a great time. Your review spells Harrow ' Harroe' ...spell the coffee! (Sic)

Amazing staff who clearly enjoy their work, outstanding food, really quirky room with a feature roll top bath and antique furniture, and a blissfully peaceful location (complete with pigs and pheasants). A perfect countryside destination just a stones throw from Longleat Safari.

I stayed at the Bath Arms to Visit Longleat Safari Park and it was an ideal location. The staff were superb and the accommodation was excellent. Myself, my wife, my son and my mother in law all enjoyed staying there. Ideal for families and couples. No beans at breafast for my son.

The food was good. Too quirky! We had a superior room but were up in the eaves on the second floor with windows near floor level and poor lighting.

All the facilities you need to work and relax such as wifi, tv etc, but remote enough to feel peaceful. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and excellent price. Phone signal a poor but I find that throughout the whole area not just Bath Arms.

Staff were incredibly friendlyand helpful and suggested after arriving with my mother that we could choose a twin rather than the double we had booked. The room was wonderful and the staff so helpful with everything from where best to park, advise about the snow and directions. Breakfast was wonderful. Just a great stay, great location for us, and would definitely recommend to others.

I booked this room as a last minute stay for my partner who was visiting the Aqua Sana Spa at Centreparcs Longleat, with her 18yo daughter. She was pleasantly surprised at how good the Bath Arms was. The staff were excellent and very friendly. It was an excellent location for Longleat and the Aqua Sana Spa (being on the Longleat Estate). The rooms all appeared to be very individually designed (She had the Peacock Room). Food was excellent, and even after having lovely Eggs Benedict for breakfast, she was still offered a full fry-up to follow if she fancied it! We would highly reccomend the Bath Arms for a short overnight Romantic get-away and are likely to keep it in mind for a future visit. Would have been useful for Breakfast to have been served/started a little earlier, as it didn't commence until 8am. However, that said, when arriving for Breakfast at 7:45am, the staff were serving already.

Unusual Hotel staff friendly, informal and atmosphere relaxed. My wife is allergic to chicken and they instaltly changed the pre-starter for her as a result, no fuss and very quick. We were there two nights and the hotel grew on us a lot. We had two rooms but no comfortably seating, none downstairs either. Whilst the staff were relaxed and informal we got the wrong water with dinner and when we dithered slightly (really briefly) the waiter said "I'll come back I've got a lot of things to do" !!!! No instructions on how to book spa facilities either, fortunately that didn't matter,

Privacy and cleanliness of bedroom. Location and ambience of common areas. The dinner was a great disappointment and had we known that the head chef was not on duty, we would have eaten elsewhere. At breakfast the fire place belched out smoke causing unpleasantness to those eating breakfast.

“From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and waited on hand and foot, nothing was any trouble for the owners Roy & Cate; including understanding and doing everything they could to accommodate my girlfriends nut allergy when it came to ordering food which is all fresh and cooked on the premises. The decor was immaculate, especially in the room with a freestanding bath and 4 poster bed, this was more like staying in a hotel than a b&b! Couldn't have asked for anymore than the incredibly high level of service we got and at such a reasonable price too! Will definitely be returning here!!” Ian, Horsham |
