good location, good facilities
impossible to contact the owner by phone; it was't written anywhere that you have to pay by card the day before arrival and you could't pay cash
Location, well appointed, good size rooms. Good customer service.
- It was clean - Location was good - had soaps and clothes washing detergent available - was close to markets, restaurants etc.
- broken cupboards - clothes dryer didn't work - TV did not work - need better instructions on how to find the proper door for foreigners who don't understand the address systems - was moldy clothes left in the clothes washer
Excellent location so easy to walk into city and get around.
Sadly dvd player not working, would have been handy.
Only having text contact with the lady running it
Excellent accommodation with information supplied professionally and quickly
Good location Well stocked supermarket 2mins away Well set up apartment
Poor parking opltions High noise level of late night revellers and seagulls. THe birds were very nois, constantly throughout the night,
After initial problems, all was fine at the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen, lot of space and nice bedrooms. Suits fine for a family vacation, not too far from the center to go by foot.
Information of our booking did not go to property from Booking.com. We tried to call the apartment contact, no answer, only machine telling to send email. We waited reply to email a couple of days before confirmation came. Finally we had to pay whole amount before arrival per phone. Not as told on the Booking.com site! Lots of seagulls screaming at night, difficult to sleep. No airconditioning and could not keep the windows open due seagulls.
The interior was modern and well equipt. The furnishings were very nice.
It was on a very busy road and also the noise from the seagulls late at night and very early morning was unbelievable. We think they must roost on the roof across the road.
Excellent location but a little noisy from traffic. Has all the facilities we needed.
Appartment: Clean and tidy, lots of plates, cups and cooking utensils, remember to turn the hot water on. Location: 5min easy walk to Bath centre, very close to Sainsburys for all the shopping, farmers market Saturday. Play area for kids in green park just a short walk away Parking: Can park outside for a few minutes and then have to put car in car park a few minutes walk away. Staff: Didn't see anyone, but they left good instructions on how to find the key and get in.
Glad I took my shotgun and seagull recipe book otherwise they woud have kept us awake all night. I think TBHC they have a few properties around the centre of Bath and you don't know which one you will get. We were were happy in James street West though.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was fantastic. Thank you.
Loved the location of Margarets buildings, just around the corner from the Cresent and only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bath
Near town centre
Bed to big for room
Near to city. Clean and well maintained. Stayed for daughter's graduation so had more flexibility than some bed and breakfast places.
Parking not available except for unloading. Tried to use hob on cooker, no instructions anywhere and used microwave instead. No instructions anywhere. Took our rubbish home with us. Floors very creaky and found flat noisy at night if windows were open
Well equipped, lots of space, light airy apartment. The lounge dining area is lovely and looks over very mature trees. Key safe system all smooth
The apartment is not where you think it is on the map- this is the booking office. It was fine for me 10-15 minute walk to The Roman Baths- but too far for my elderly mother. This is a shame as the location was one of my main requirements. Also up 2 flights of steep stairs- again too much for my mother. Also on a very busy main road (London Road)- windows in one bedroom cannot be opened for good reason...noise. Also rubbish at the entrance way for 3 days - not the owners fault but it gives such a bad first impression.
Location, ease of checking in/out, great communication from staff and a good place to use whilst visiting Bath.
No on site parking so had to park 15 mins walk away. The website should state this more clearly as with a baby it caused extra hassle.
Loved this little flat! It had everything we needed for a weekend in Bath.
Very nice facilities and staff was helpful! Just one thing was double bed on the second floor was a bit too hot during the summer. I opened the window, but was awoken by noisy birds around 4 am!!! A little bit of problematic! But other aspects were very good!
Too hot on the second floor, even during the night!
I booked this for a couple plus my sister so it was a perfect "family" apartment. I have never seen a self-catering place so well-equipped. TBHC staff are incredibly helpful and well-organised and the arrangements all went perfectly. Easy walking distance to all major sites in Bath.
The location of the flat is on a road with heavy traffic so in summer this is a down side.
Position is excellent. Close to supermarkets, walk to downtown. Room to move. Clean beds. Quiet at night for sleeping.
Mouldy washing machine, clothes airer. Carpets need cleaning so when not wearing shoes there is no cross contamination. Shower surrounds need cleaning of mould. Agent needs to read emails. Faulty smoke alarm. Non slip mat provided for slippery shower will need constant cleaning to prevent mould. Free parking is NOT available for visitors as locals use it permanently. Broken cupboard still not fixed. Bathroom door lock needs adjusting. This apartment is more suitable for young people than observant oldies.
close enough to town
perfect for central Bath
No bottle opener!!!
it was centrally located and a reasonable size. picking up the keys was simple..
The ensuite shower door was broken and the upstairs bedrooms and landing floors creaked so loudly that if one person got up, everyone awoke. we got very little sleep. Also, when everything else was available, why do the towels have to be rented for £5 each? that is unnecessary and for quite an expensive apartment, should not happen.
Location Dimension of the rooms Decor
Parking problems Slow draining water from shower - unpleasant to stand in while washing No wifi
