The hotel, very pleasant staff, rooms very clean. Lovely scenery from all around the Hotel. Plenty of parking. Really enjoyed our stay.
Just one minor thing as much as the breakfast was excellent, and we had to help ourselves. We all missed the teapot being put on the table, did not like using a flask of hot water that was left on the side, not always hot.
Situation was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast. We would use this hotel again.
Room was cold for 14th november there was no heating on in the bedroom or in the wet room. we are both over 80 and it was very cold, particularly for a disabled room'
Friendly and welcoming staff, very good breakfast
Location: close to Weston-super-mare. Breakfast: free depending on your booking. Plentiful for those with small appetite but pastries, yoghurt, cereals, bread and spread, juice and hot drinks are available too. Cleanliness: excellent. Heating: comfortable
Location: hotel road signage is small for a busy road. Comfort: mattress is worn out. you can feel the springs. Noise: footsteps from the corridor.
Nice contemporary room
Poor Wi-Fi - very slow connection, stopped working at 9.30 Couldn't provide more than sandwiches following my arrival at 8.30. Recommended local pub but had been driving 4hrs so wasn't convenient TV wouldn't receive BBC1, BBC2 or ITV1 NO HOT WATER in the morning Very half baked apology for the issues and would not offer any form of reduction on the room rate
no evening meal available, could not park on Thursday night due to a large function and not informed
Breakfast well cooked. Room very spacious and warm Plenty of parking space
Furniture tired, Bath towels very small and quite thin. TV very small for the size of the room. Pillows very small. No facility for evening meal except bar snacks
The location was perfect for us - a mile from the speedway track. Breakfast was generally good. 24 hour front desk. Nice bathroom.
Bathroom had a smell from the drains - this appeared to be because the trap in the bath drain was empty. Soft bed. Not a lot of space in the room. Low water pressure made showering difficult - an issue with the local water supply we were told. Breakfast menu unclear - you have to pay for porridge if you want a cooked breakfast but it's free with the continental version.
I thought that the carpet on the stairs was a bit dull, but the staff made the stay very pleasant. Beer battered fish and chips excellent, and we enjoyed the meal, even though simple in some eyes. Beautifully cooked and nicely presented.
Location and overall a very pleasant stay with friendly helpful staff and very good food.
Nothing serious ...but the bar area needs 'softening' a little ... it doesn't encourage you to linger. (maybe that's deliberate!)
Hotel was really good value for money, I was worried about our stay as I had read that the noise from the motorway and bar was very loud. We had a room on the front and over the bar and no point were there any issues, fantastic hotel and I will stop again.
we were very happy with our stay with you and will definitely be back again. We have recommended your hotel to our friends who stayed in the Premier Inn on the same night.
the net curtains in the ceiling of the breakfast room could do with a good wash!!
We liked everything - except we didn't actually get what it said on the tin - the bed was not king size and the bathroom was nothing like those in the pictures depicting the Four Poster Executive rooms - I imagine the lower rate of the room meant you got the budget versions - its a shame it doesn't tell you that before hand. We didn't mind this - it was just a disappointment - we could of booked a normal double room for a lower price minus the 4 posts!!! We did enjoy our stay regardless
The breakfast was good
The hotel is run down and not very clean. In need of attention to décor. Poor customer service. Misrepresentation of photographs. Limited menu for dinner
Good location when flying from Bristol Airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Good parking, good restaurant and lovely rooms.
Easy access from motorway; very welcoming staff; quiet -even though wedding in progress, as we were located at the other end of the hotel; very comfortable bed and nice bedroom; really excellent meal and service in the evening; good breakfast in the conservatory with nice views. Overall a very pleasant overnight stay.
Hotel was easy to find and had a nice front garden that was well looked after. Restaurant staff were pleasant.
We upgraded to a room with four poster bed but didn't think it was worth the extra £20 per night.
The food in the restaurant was excellent, but....(see over)
The food portions were very small!!
Rooms and corridor looked very tired.
It was convenient for my purpose.
Noisy machinery outside room kept me awake. Far too many notices regarding water, flies, etc and fines for not returning remote to reception.
We stayed here on our way to Cornwall. It was an affordable, comfortable place to stay mid journey & the staff were very friendly. The food was really good, especially breakfast! The room was a little tired & needing some work, as is most of the hotel, but it's really not worth complaining about. Overall satisfied with my stay.
The service, the meal, the price.
Bedroom well appointed but very small
Good location, good choice for breakfast.
Room located above the kitchen, the kitchen vent is attached to the wall outside the room window. Room actually vibrates when the vent is operational and you can hear all the activity in the kitchen so not best for a restful sleep! When checking out was advised to ask to not be put in that room if we come back! Other minor points were no working shower and a tv that turned off every 5 to 10 minutes but for one night it was acceptable.
We liked the comfort, and overall the setting etc of the Hotel. It was a great location to break up a long journey.
I was disappointed with my main course of my evening meal. The chef clearly didn't know how to cook a risotto, and I have never heard of putting balsamic vinegar all over it.
