Dinner - which was superb, with very good service. Conservatory restaurant was warm and comfortable in spite of awful weather. Breakfast was a delight. Bar very cosy and welcoming.
Dreary lighting in restaurant

Nothing not to like
excellent food, helpful friendly staff, gorgeous views over the estuary made for an excellent weekend
This small hotel was very welcoming and we would have liked to spend more time there. The staff were especially friendly.
LOVELY PLACE RAN BY LOVELY PEOPLE WITH LOYAL FIRST CLASS STAFF.FOOD COULD NOT BE BETTER VERY HIGH STANDARDS THROUGHOUT
Great staff comfortable rooms and great food
Difficult to find and driving through the industrial estate to get to the hotel
Relaxed. Great location. Staff were very friendly and efficient.
All good. I liked everything.
Good food, staff and room. And the view from the restaurant excellent
A warm fire and welcome - just the thing after a long journey on a dark winter day.
Excellent location and exceptional food
breakfast with a view, real ale, location for cumbrian coastal way, patio with one of the best views in britain, 'joe' the barman very helpful and friendly and mulled cider, easy access to beautiful ulverston town centre
Location and views spectacular, professional attentive staff, very good food and cosy bar.
Bed was on the small side for 2 adults.
Friendly, welcoming, cozy and warm. Good food, bit on the dear side though! However, location was great, very enjoyable. Would stay again!
Fantastic location Food
On the beach, next to an historic canal
Approach past Glaxo was unexpected, but did not in the end spoil the location.
Bed too narrow
I was made to feel very comfortable.
The limited food menu choice, and the prices of items on the menu. Fillet steak £27.00? Chilli Con Carne £12.99? Hardly appropriate when staying on business. One other thing - the in-house hotel notes state that the bar closes at midnight. I was asked to leave at 23:00!
The atmosphere is of a qunitesential english pub with rooms Very inviting cosy and relaxing The food is marvelous and the most comfortable bed I have slept in for some time
Location, food, friendliness
Room could have been bigger
Location lovely - rooms overlooking the water. Great views. Food excellent
Decor is perhaps ready fir a refresh
Location, relaxed atmosphere, friendliness of staff.
Room too warm, bed uncomfortable. Position of TV could have been better.
A very warm welcome and greeting on arrival. Staff were always very attentive and you felt they would do anything at all to help you, nothing was too much trouble. Great food served in the evening, and equally so for breakfast. Everything was clean, and in order. Not easy to fault at all.
Lovely location right by the waterside. Very friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do enough for me. Excellent food.
Slightly difficult to find without a Sat Nav.
