Comfy bed and friendly owners. Breakfast was good and it's right by the sea, a short walk from the station and very close to a bus round to Broadstairs.
It was a little dusty below the bed.
Nice and cozy private B&B, nice landlord.
Room could not be locked. For one quick night no problem, but probably for a longer stay.
Breakfast was good hannah and her husband are very nice and welcoming it was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again.
This guesthouse was absolutely delightful. The owners are lovely, the quality of the room was fab, prices terrific for what you get. The breakfast was delicious, very generous and courteous to your needs. The seafront is literally outside the doorstep and it's one minute from the centre of Margate. Highly recommend and would stay there again with pleasure.
Hannah and her son are so helpful and welcoming.
Friendliness of staff. Great breakfast
Parking is difficult, though staff were accommodating on first night. Shower not Woking properly Creaking floor boards in bedroom
I enjoyed my stay at the bay because it was central location of where I wanted to go.
There was nothing I did not like.
Reasonable decor reflects the prices considering most of the others are a lot more so be grateful for the b&b
The bedroom (ensuite). The price.
The squeeky bedroom floor slightly unnerved me as I was anxious about disturbing other guests underneath late and night or early in the morning.
Couple who ran the hotel were very friendly.made us feel relaxed and comfortable
Good stay room good service good breakfast excellent what can I say but thanks
Hospitality was of a very good standard and prompt
The WiFi connection was very poor
I realy loved the host they were very welcoming and very easy to talk to. The guest house was lovely the bed was supa comfy and breakfast was to die for
all I would say is that it needs a we bit of diy done
The hostess was delightful and extremely helpful, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and luxurious, the breakfast superb!
Walking distance of the sea & Margate attractions. Lovely breakfast. Friendly owners.
Great size room Great Location Great Price Friendly staff
Shower needed replacing
The price is very good and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful.
The place is rather tired and old, despite the efforts to try and modernise. However this is mitigated by the low price and the friendliness of the staff.
The Bay is fairly basic, but excellent value for money. If you want somewhere that's in the lap of luxury, this isn't it. If you want somewhere clean, with a good breakfast and that's good for a small budget, then this is idea.
Stayed at the bay which was opposite the winter gardens. The staff were excellent and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast would definately come back tracy & barry
Lovely view and nice breakfast. Easy walk to the town and Turner gallery.
Everything was great. Steve and Hannah were really helpful and accommodated our needs. Breakfast was soooo good and substantial. We had a lovely room with a sea view which we loved! Will be definitely going back!
The only thing I can think of is the power of the shower. It was ok but could have been better.
Hannah and Steve were very good hosts. Good location. Sea view. Parking outside. Good priced b&b
The land lady and her husband were very helpful. Nothing was refused and they always had a smile on their face. The location of the guest house was central to Margate and directly opposite the Winter Gardens.
Nothing wrong with the guest house, but I could not believe how run down Margate has become, plus most of the shops are boarded up. I was only there for a wedding, so wasn't a problem to me. They need to reopen Dreamland fun park, then the rest will follow.
The B+B was very well located as was attending an event at the Winter Gardens very good accommodation and breakfast very friendly staff with good knowledge of the area. Well worth the price!
The En-suite Shower could do with some work.
This was a great location on the sea-front, close to the old street neighborhood for vintage shopping and food and the Turner Contemporary
The overall feeling of the guesthouse did feel like you were staying in someone's home, a little cluttered and not "hotel clean", but I felt safe and taken care of, a lovely place to stay while in Margate.
