My friend and I were staying in Lowestoft for an intensive driving course and the staff at the Beach House could not have been more friendly or helpful. I would stay at the Beach House again if I were staying in the area and would recommend it to anyone. The rooms were clean and comfortable and they provide a very good breakfast.

Wonderfully central location near train station, shops and beaches. Lovely room and delicious breakfast, including homemade bread, jam and marmalade. The owners, Liz and Warwick were incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed the short time I was there.

The proximity to the beach, the enormous TV, the homemade bread, jam and marmalade, the nicely cooked scrambled eggs, the friendly service, the cleanliness, the jug of real milk for the tea in my room (priceless). It was a little bit noisy at night but not so many years ago it would have been me out there! Each to their own :)

Best location, nice rooms, and great value for money, and good breakfast, friendly staff. Nothing I didn't like, the owner is currently updating the property, the room we stayed in was already finished, and very nice, this is not a complaint, just an indication that work is in progress, but this in no way impacted on our stay.

Fantastic landlord Warwick who was friendly and chatty as soon as we walked in the door. Lovely, bright decor in the rooms. Delicious and huge breakfast including gorgeous home made bread. Breakfast room overlooked the coast. Easy parking and really reasonable price. Brilliant. Other noisy guests coming home in the early hours. Clunky water heater noise. Would have loved a bottle of water and glasses in the room. Currently renovating so a bit messy but apologies were made.

Very friendly and cute place.would stay again as got room for 45 pound. Not saying didnt like it, but the breakfast was very tiny, one rash of bacon, one egg and a sausage.....thats not a full english to us derbyshire people. T.vs way too big for rooms, banged my head on it several times.

We were greeted by the landlord in a very friendly manner and during our short stay he did everthing possible to be helpful. Our breakfast was made as we requested and was very good. Despite the website saying that there was no carpark, there actually is a very large pay/display car park immediately opposite. After 6 pm however the road outside is available for free parking on both sides as the office workers in the town go home leaving it all empty for you to stay as long as required. We will definitely visit again. Shared bathrooms not yet up to scratch. They are being completed over the next few weeks.

The relaxing atmosphere..attentive owner..and the breakfast was cracking..so many places seem to expect u to 'go out and stay out' but not at the Beach House! Lovely 'full English' for breakfast part of which was a quality sausage from a local butcher...too many breakfasts' serve up poor quality bangers..not at The beach House! Location is ideal for the beach or going into town. Decent bar/restaurant 2 mins walk..'Iconic'..well presented, tasty, good value food! And if u like real ale 'The Triangle Tavern' is a must..about 20 mins walk from the Beach House! Needs a bit more decorating but we were there to enjoy a short break not admire the paint work.
