Location was good
Condition of room was poor and not worth the money
Nice staff, good breakfast, pretty room, excellent bathroom.
Nothing it was all pleasant.
Comfortable clean bed made for a good sleep Room was warm and shower worked fine as did all other facilities such as hairdryer etc Lighting all worked with no faults.
The door for our room had a broken lock which was a security concern so we had to take our valuables with us rather than keep them in the room. Didn't do much about it as we were there only 1 night but should be sorted for future guests. Not really an issue for me as I only shower but worth mentioning, the bath plug does not fit properly for Room 5 so it does not seal water if someone had a bath. One of the socket plugs is broken and exposed to wiring, not an issue for me but dangerous potentially for kids.
The hotel was easy to find and close to various parking options. Breakfast was hot and tasty. The 24 hour reception was good. The location and ease of getting to and from the shopping areas and lanes was excellent.
The shower was unpredictable, with little to no pressure. Either the water was freezing or boiling. And it very frequently stopped altogether. The floor was uneven and raised at one end. The plates used for breakfast too small.
Location is good as it's close to the beach, lanes and pier.
Wifi didn't work all the time I stayed, hot water took ages to come on and was very intermittent as I was told by the staff to run the tap in the basin to circulate the water, the building is very old so the bangs of the doors reverberated through the hotel.
Handy location, easy walking distance to the Pier and over the road from public car park. The room was quite large and they serve a good breakfast.
Hotel is clean but a little shabby.
Very good value for money. Much better than expected. Room was large with a sea view and breakfast was a good standard.
Bed and Breakfast nice on sweet bathroom Large rooms clean lots of towels and toiletries Tea and coffe too Nice chilled staff .. good place to stay ! £55.00 per night Excellent Value Would stay again!
Nothing realy except Parking Guests should have residents Parking permits got there late and got a parking Tickets £35.00 :(
Spacious, comfortable room, staff were helpful
Décor is a bit dated and a little shabby in places, but not really a complaint as the price is so reasonable.
The girl behind the desk was helpful in resolving the issue I had with out key being given to some other people
We arrived early 10.00 am and they was happy to let us check in even though the check in wasn't until 14.00. Really nice friendly staff and perfect location.
The corridors are extremely misleading and old fashioned compared to the room which has recently be done up and is clean and modern.
Location is nice..view from room was beautiful.
Location, the large bedrooms, the staff very helpful,my son was very ill while we were there and had to extend our stay, staff very helpful re hospital etc, haven stayed here several times before.
The whole experience was fantastic...the location was brilliant, so close to the beach and no more than 3-4minutes walk to the town centre...highly recommended.
Location Plenty of hot water Decent TV Fairly cheap
Poor general cleanliness Curtains hanging off No heating in bathroom Nasty uncomfortable sprung mattress Someone else's sandwiches left in fridge Limited choice at breakfast Tiny breakfast plates Smell of damp in corridors
Clean, helpful friendly staff, provided everything asked. Room was very big and great views.
Awkward with a buggy- even with the lift but this is because it is an old school hotel. Staff were accomodating in letting us keep the buggy downstairs. Quite run down and sad looking but that is all in the decor.
warm welcome, nice location
I could hear the guy next room snoring through the emergency door
location, price - you get what you pay for....
basement rooms are below reception - so you can hear evryone come and go - all night until early hours
Location is excellent with friendly staff. Good value compared to others.
Building interior is very tatty and in serious need of a refurb, especially the communal areas, though inside the rooms was not quite as bad, some of the furniture would likely be rejected by charity shops!
Helpful staff freindly comfy bed
Breakfast plates were too small
The window in our room.
The breakfast was poor. The room was run down. They had added an ensuite but left a 4 footgap between the ceiling of the ensuite and the ceiling of the room. The door was damaged. Burn marks on the carpet. The carpet needed a good clean. The whole hotel is run down. I feel I was misled by the pictures on the web site.
Good location, had a room with a sea view.
The shower stopped working mid shower. Took 15 mins to start working again. Two single beds pushed together. Room could have done with updating and decorating. Ladies take your own hair dryer.
Friendly staff and a good location
We had a basement room and we're awake till 03.30 but wud go back.....not too a basement room
good size room and comfortable bed
The hotel needs updating top to bottom and the bathroom in room 20 needs updating
