The Beacons Guest House  

Being from the US, we found all hotels in Wales expensive for us. This was the least expensive, and was certainly a comfortable stay. Off street parking, full English breakfast, friendly staff, clean.

Very small room, we had a shared bath.

The price; the excellent breakfast; the very friendly and helpful proprietors.

Warm welcome by staff - particularly Mel - room clean and facilities spotless. Breakfast could not have been bettered. Peaceful atmosphere....thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the central location of hotel ideal for going out and about. A joy not to fight for a parking space.

Very convinient location Parking avialability. we appreciated vegetarian breakfast availability. Host was friendly.

overpriced a hotel in town the wellington was £55.00 a night ,the parking facilities were pathetic no street lighting to guide you the room was too big i asked for a smaller room and was refused abnd offered a extra heater the plumbing sounded like world war had broken out.one of the toasters was not working so this delayed having a swift breakfast.

The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk. nice large bed, good pillows. Welcoming staff. Off road, free parking.

The breakfast was poor. Toast , juice, coffee etc great but the cooked breakfast was very cold, cheap sausages too. Very disappointing! Room was cold when we got there and the rad was off- would have been more welcoming had it been warm! Quickly warmed up when we turned it on though. Sad to see you are not allowed your own alcohol in the room and that if you do, they charge corkage. There IS a bar but we never found it or were shown to it. I think for the price of the room you should be able to consume a bottle of your OWN wine on the premises without being charged.
