Very good,
Score from 22 reviews
“ We booked the hotel to visit our daughter at University. The location was lovely, having left a city to find ourselves in beautiful countryside in only 10 minutes. The room and bathroom was cleaned to a very high standard, the decor was tasteful and overall, good value for money, we would definately stay here again. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. ”

The room was spacious and clean. Pleased to have had a parking space out our patio door. We were under the impression that the wi-fi would be available in our room - which it wasn't and this caused an inconvenience as we were unable to do our work. The price of breakfast was extremely high.

This was our second visit to this hotel and we chose it because we enjoyed our first visit so much. Staff are always very ready to help and nothing is too much trouble for them. My wife has to have skimmed milk; some hotels just ignore the request, but not Beamish Park; they had two two pint cartons in specially for her, even though we only stayed two nights. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The two waitresses that seem to be on duty for breakfast each day are particularly worthy of mention; extremely pleasant and obliging. The charges are quite high, although we did stay in one of their luxury rooms.

location was main reason why we stayed here only complaint is that the heating was not on and had to ask three times about it, first time we asked she said it doesnt come on till 4pm, so we went out for dinner and came back expecting it to be on and it wasnt, and in the end ended up with a portable heater an hour later.

Good location, Modern and clean, good quality rooms and public areas. Friendly feel and relaxing. I would prefer if the room rates included breakfast. It seems a bit tacky to charge for a breakfast or coffee at the end of your stay.

Lovely building, very friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room with comprehensive facilities. Dinner menu could be described as limited if you were staying for more than say three nights. The hotel does offer 'specials' on a daily basis.

Attended a wedding here, excellent food and service throughout the wedding reception. Lovely location, nice room. Comfortable bed. would consider staying again. The price charged for a deluxe room, did not think it was worth the extra. It wasn't a nicer room.....the rooms are all nice. The room was just larger and I don't agree that this equates to the increase in price compared to the standard rooms.
