Reception : ok Bathroom: small but clean

Room : small room on lower ground, next to Daikin airco and underneath reception => day and night a lot of noise!!!!! Reception : poor knowledge of personnel on what to do/see around Christmas or how to best go somewhere specifically

We were so lucky to be upgraded as my husband had informed the hotel that it was my birthday on the day we stayed there - a very considerate gesture on the hotels part. All staff were very courteous and helpful, the concierge guided us to the Olympic site by using the business centre in the foyer. Though on the ground floor just on the road, there was hardly any noise as it's a quiet area. We were booked into the theatre on Drury Lane - just 10 mins walk - and the British Museum just 5 mins walk - a great location all in all.

Breakfast was very expensive at £20 - we went back to Russell Sq where there are loads of restaurants at the new shopping development - Carluccios does a great breakfast for much less. Apart from this we thought it was a real bargain for London

Delighted to receive free upgrade on arrival. Staff were friendly and efficient. En-suite was spacious and clean.

Room was a bit small for an "Executive Twin".

We were upgraded to a beautifully appointed, spacious executive room. For free! which was excellent bonus. very quiet rooms and no road noise, which made a good nights sleep every night easy to come by. Also very nice toiletries.

The brochure implied there was an iPod hub in the rooms but there was none in our room. Also We were not told about wireless Internet. the tea / coffee maker were stored in the wardrobe which meant you had to boil the kettle over and amongst your clothes...... Not entirely safe..... the towels were stored at the far end of the bath behind a non moveable shower screen so you couldn't reach them without stepping back into the bath...

We chose this hotel purely for its location. Normally would go to a larger chain hotel, but we were very impressed by the standard of cleanliness, comfort of the hotel as well as the friendliness of the staff. We've already booked to go back for an overnight stay.

We loved this hotel! It was quiet and small but still felt luxurious and stylish as you would expect in London. We loved the free upgrade to a junior suite due to it being my husbands birthday!! Thank you very much, we will stay with you again next ti e we are in London x

I liked everything!

The Beauchamp Town House is an ideal hotel in an ideal location. The hotel's staff were very polite and accommodating. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Our stay at the hotel was a good experience and given the choice of other hotels in the price range can't complain much. Excellent location and while some may complain that the some rooms are small - they make up for it but being well appointed, at least the one we had Rm 207 worked. Nice view over the rear gardens so that we felt we were actually in London.

They hotel should really invest in double glazing. We had condenser units located (probably air con related) below and the background sound was annoying but not a deal breaker. They went out at around 11pm.

Room was very comfortable and good value

Staff were a little disinterested and warmth could be introduced through well trained staff.

The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. The hotel is in a short walk distance from the nearest metro station and 10min walk from the soho. We really liked the location and the service.

Basically the negative things derive from characteristics of the house. As it is a Georgian townhouse, it has some/many deficiencies. First of all the rooms are really small. The normal double rooms are really tiny. We were lucky as we got a littlebit bigger room, but still in our room my leg was hanging over the bed by 15cm, and I'm 175cm. On the top floor (3rd) of the building the floor of the rooms are in 5-7% horizontal balance, so sometimes u feel like being on a boat. Abd last, the noise. I hardly could sleep because of the noise of the aircondition, doors closing on the corridor, etc. Also, it was supprising that the internet costs 5£ per hour and the breakfast is 20£ / person.

Stunning hotel in beautiful location, spent all weekend in London and didn't usethe tube once! Charming lady on reception asked if we were visiting for any occasion, I mentioned it was my birthday and she upgraded us to a Juniour Suite. Our room was enormous and decorated beautifully. The bathroom was gorgeous, facilities second to none and I loved the little touches included such as a coffee table full of this months magazines. I would thoroughly reccommend this fabulous, friendly hotel to anyone and hope to visit again soon!

Easy to find. Good value for money. Decent room. Friendly staff.

They took a long time to find our reservation in their system, around ten minutes. Shower to a while to work out how to operate.
