Ideally placed between the historic towns of Monmouthshire and Chepstow. Tintern is in the heart of the Wye Valley, and all of the attractions it has to offer.

good location ,clean very quiet room everything you need for a stop over.
i thought the shower could do with updating
for a 2 star hotel the whole stay was very good.
Good location. Room old and basic but clean and comfy bed.
All OK for price paid. No bedsite light curtain of poor quality and let light in.
If i had wonted a full breakfast, however we did not!
Tea in a flask is not the way to serve tea. Tea pot with tea bags and fresh hot water! Continental Breakfast, means croissant's not toast! and fresh coffee, again not from a flask!
Friendly welcome, clean, comfortable room, good food
Location, room size
No breakfast before 8.00 considering big running event required early start TV too small. Noisy wedding reception in hotel. Fireworks late at night
Damp smell in room, shower dribbled, lovely view of a wall from bedroom window. Over priced, especially as breakfast not included.
The location of the hotel was excellent, especially in relation to the castle. The hotel staff were lovely and the rooms were really clean.
The only problem we had was that due to the location we heard a lot of yongsters in the early hours of the morning shouting in a drunken way outside our window. As it was hot we had to have the window open as there was no other way of keeping cool in the room. I would suggest that it might be benificial to have a fan available.
Very Friendly staff and idealy situated.
I stayed in room 12 in which the bathroom needs to be refurbished. The shower control had obviously broken and just a washer to switch off water to shower
Great location in the town
noise off main road very early
Friendly staff, food was really good, really relaxing stay
Lovely evening meal and plenty of choice at breakfast
Location, friendly pub atmosphere, good tasty breakfast, friendly helpful staff,
Poor parking facilities, our room was on the top floor too many stairs to climb, maybe it's our age, owing to the good weather windows left open so noisy at night
The fact that it was close to the location where I was visiting and diving.
The shower didn't work correctly in that I could not adjust the water temp, the TV did not work and the towels were ok for drying a small child.
Very helpful, friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Lucy at reception was a terrific help in the supply a phone charger as we had forgotten ours. We will definitely be staying there again. Very central, right in the middle of everything.
Can't fault the hotel.
Excellent Food, Service and nice smiling people!!
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food excellent, breakfast was really nice and value for money as was the evening meal we had. Room great, bed lovely and comfortable. Big Thanks to Anthony and Sophie for their help.
The location was excellent, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good although the staff were extremely busy.
The hotel advertised on site parking but did not give details of how to get to it.
Friendly hotel very helpful
Thought £100 per room per night without breakfast was a bit steep compared to other similar hotels we have stayed in.
Easy to book, friendly staff, great location
Room was clean and comfortable, staff were very welcoming and excellent location.
The hotel was easy to find. It has triple rooms ( unlike some hotels ). The menu looked appetising although we wandered out to explore the town and ate by the river. Breakfast was tasty. The atmosphere was relaxed. There was a supply of shower gels, towels, and tea cups for three people ( some hotels forget the extra person ). The staff were nice even when they were busy.
Our room was the fire exit.
