The Beaumont Hotel  

Friendliness of all the staff. The "old fashioned" generous size of the suite.

The room was spotless, but could have done with re-decorating. However, this is not a complaint as the whole package was sensibly priced to reflect the overall standard.

The Beaumont Hotel is situated at a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from the numerous shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in the centre of Louth. Reception was welcoming and efficient, and our spotless room was thoughtfully and tastefully equipped. Breakfast was excellent, and good value at just £5, and served by a very attentive waiter. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A very friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and very warm which we love. Hate been cold in a hotel room. Breakfast was excellent. The coffee especially!. The staff helped us with hints on where to walk etc. Walking into town was 15min. Louth is a town worth visiting. We have booked again with friends for a walking weekend in Mayr May.

Friendly staff, wifi access, comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast choices.

Restaurant food was a bit disappointing - not bad, but distinctly average.

A warm welcome and good room. My request for table or desk for writing was met. The staff couldn't do enogh and room service meal was very good and reasionably priced. Whilst I may never visit Louth again, the Beaumont would be a definate if I did!

Mattress rather lumpy on left hand side with springs near surface. Seemed to have been used for single occupancy as right hand side ok. Need to invest in a new mattress

Very small lift, very cold over night as we did not discover until the morning that we had to turn on the heating ourselves... In November!

Location was ideal for my plans at the weekend, the room was clean and well presented

When I visited the restaurant unfortunately was closed in the evening so had to go out and find somewhere to eat although they did pre warn about this but gave no reason. Was unable to get the shower hot in the morning.

The staff were brilliant - most importantly: friendly/helful/pleasant. Food was very good too...much better than I would have thought.

The downstairs reception rooms were decorated to a nice standard and the bar and breakfast areas were welcoming as were the staff.

Thought the bedroom - room 14 was tired and in need of upgrade. The room smelt of damp when we first went in and the radiators were on full blast so it was very hot. It would have been nice for the room to have been aired the day before/earlier on the day to rid of the damp smell. The carpets, some of the bedroom furniture and bathroom could have done with being upgraded/modernised.
