Excellent service from start to finish, couldn't recommend enough
When we arrived the receptionist was very welcoming & upgraded our room without us asking. This is cosy accommodation where the staff are very helpful. Our room was spotless and had lovely decor. It's definitely worth a stay
The sausages at breakfast weren't great but that's the only thing I can think of!
Food in restaurant was lovely
Paper thin walls between rooms, poor shower, no wifi working
Pleasantly surprised to find our quad room had been upgraded to adjoining twin rooms which were very spacious and comfortable. Easy drive out of Derry and not to far from Belfast airport where we were retuning following day so good spot to stop out of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food excellent and dinner reasonably priced.
Irritating advertisements for their own facilities/functions over the sound system in the restaurant. Spoiled an otherwise lovely location
Quality of food, friendly and efficient staff.
Staff were so helpful and friendly. I was there with a group of 7 friends and all 4 rooms were very comfortable and well furnished. The bar and breakfast room were also tastefully furnished. We all enjoyed our stay.
Only complaint I had was the low pressure in the shower which I mentioned when checking out. I was told they are in the process of getting it sorted.
Great staff responsive to every request. Restaurant and bar. Very nice room with exception of ventalation (see below). But still highly recommend the hotel and would stay again.
Air flow in room was limited. Probably don't need air conditioning, but definitely need ceiling fan given limited opening of the window.
Food and presentation first class. Staff friendly and efficient. Thoroughly enjoyed food experience.
Rooms not as good as I had expected. Certainly not on a par with the food.
Attended a family wedding staff were wonderful very polite and exceptionally friendly and brian was great entertainment the bar staff were great
Everything about the belfry is brilliant from the excellent staff to a really well finished establishment every attention to detail has been done to a very high standard would go back there and the food was first class from start to finish well done the belfry
Very friendly and welcoming staff
the food was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful well be back
Staff were very helpful and room was of good size and it was quiet (at the back of the Inn).
Breakfast was a little limited in continental breakfast choice - no fresh fruit. Cooked component was good
Stayed here as a wedding guest. . Food was amazingly good. Wedding host was outstandingly entertaining. Reception staff exceptionally helpful and accommodating.
Only fault I noted was uneven flooring (ramps / steps). . access to ball room via reception ... makeshift ramps at a doorway made access diff fittest of people Not 2 mention those with mobility probs.
The enthusiasm of the staff and the quality of the breakfast. The room was comfortable but to claim as the Belfray does that its rooms are 'luxurious' is Irish whimsy.
Bleak situation and uninviting exterior. The place does not seem to know whether it is appealing to touring travellers or local revellers. Its mid-morning coffee was dire.
Food was very good.
No proper bar facility.
Rooms were fantastic and comfortable
Setup of the facilities was strange, there was no bar only a series of restaurants.
our bedroom was lovely and clean, first bedroom ever we have been in that had that clean smell,Beautiful hotel, lovely staff food to die for. Will be back soon
we liked everything
Staff were excellent and food was fabulous.
The room far too dark and dingy. Room 101. Nearly had to keep the lighting on all day. Not a nice room at all. Bar and bistro all one area. Especially when the food seems to be the one big attraction of the hotel. Think it would be much better if the bar was a separate area with comforable seats.
Out of town, heating in room to warm the radiator that hot, you could not touch
the staff were very helpful
Very good hotel in good location with frendly staff
I just thought the whole experience was amazing. The staff were excellent, the food was great and I would definitely go back or recommend the hotel. My boyfriend thought the same and he was as delighted as I was.
The staff were a delight and we had an excellent evening meal! Smoked salmon to die for! The barman was especially helpful and like allof the staff fullof smiles and humour.
staff excellent,standard room excellent,meal perfect,price excellent,will go back.
access to bar on sunday was awkward because of busy carvery
