Great location right in the middle of town.
We rented Bee Cottage for one night and paid £175 as we needed self- catering, but this cottage is not equipped for this. No oven, turntable in microwave didn't work, only one small saucepan. We had to buy kitchen equipment to reheat the meal we had taken with us. Only stay here if you are happy to cater for yourself with tea and toast. Request for refund of £75 due to lack of facilities refused by owner.
Good Location. Pleasant staff. Spacious room.
No breakfast. Noise overnight from refrigeration or aircon unit. Bathroom not very clean. No shower curtain. Expensive.
Hard to think of anything positive to say - well situated in the town I suppose.
No breakfast, room not serviced, no receipt emailed (though promised), late night and v noisy Karaoke for about four drunken customers, bedroom lights not working, towels the size of postage stamps, bewildered if well-meaning staff. Forgot that places like this still existed. Avoid at all costs.
Good location in the town centre.
The whole place inside and out looked in need of tidying up and updating. Staff looked scruffy. The room was dated, smelt damp and was in need of a more detailed clean (plugs and sockets, top of TV, skirting boards etc.)
Good location and free parking. Cozy room
The owner that I spoke to prior to our arrival was very helpful and accomodating. We stayed in the cottage which was perfect for our requirements.
The negative feedback that this place has received is completely unfounded. The cottage we rented was clean, comfortable and excellent value for money!
The pub itself could probably do with a bit of an update.
Tv not receiving well and no breakfast avaliable at time of visit
We stayted in the cottage for 3 ngts, which is very lovely. The staff are all friendly and nice.
Dated rooms, cold
The location was perfect.
The Bell Inn is in a house wish has three floors. My dad, 87 years old, was traveling with us and he had some troubles with the seep stairs. He slept on floor two and bathroom was on floor one. This we did not get information about ahead! That was bad.
We have been regular visitors over the past three years. It has steadily gone down-hill. We shall nev there again.. Staff couldn' tcare less
Bedroom small,Wood floor with no carpet or runners. Really a single room with twin beds pushed in.No breakfasts served except at weekends.
Nice accommodation, spacious room, nice pub, good location at centre of Cotswolds market town
Parking is restricted on busy days, but not difficult to find a place within walking distance
We really enjoyed this charming, old cottage right on the high street. Very quaint.
Bathroom was chilly being on the bottom floor.
Cleaniless with cutlery and plates.
It was a very comfortable room with all the amenities including a tea tray. The bed was comfortable and there was a flat screen TV at a convenient angle. The innkeeper helped us have the heating on all night as it was a very chilly night in April and that was very nice of him. Overall, great stay, the inn is really central , very close to the bus stops and station.
The staff member who met us initially was a bit brusque, told us the heating was on timer when it wasn't and wasn't too friendly. The innkeeper who came later was very helpful and pleasant though. There was no breakfast included - would have liked some!
Lovely room Central location (Moreton is a small place tho)
Towels wasn't change once over a period of 5 nights and toilet roll was not refilled until the last day Loud music playing at night up till 11 once or twice(wasn't too bad for us as we sleep late, but for families with kid or those who sleep early)
Our room was very clean but unheated when we arrived. The publican reduced our cost by £10 each when we said we were cold and my friends blanket was stained.we were pleased by that and felt it was fair.
Our room was cold and unheated when we arrived. It was a wet chilly day
Largeroom, breakfasts very good. Staff friendly and helpful.
The Tolkien history, and the relaxed bar. Staff were friendly.
Bed was pretty uncomfortable, and no mattress protector. Bathroom needs some TLC. Room was cold and the dust in the radiator caused a burning stink.
Every thing is very central.
The fact that they no longer do bed and breakfast. We have stayed here before and had one of the bigger rooms with a sofa which was very nice, this time the room was very cramped with bare floor board's which my partner slipped on a few times. Not good if your an older person. There was cobwebs on the ceiling and a big gap under the door which wasva bit cold.
It was a live music night in the pub, but the separate cottage in the backyard was quiet.
The location is very central, the staff was very friendly, and the bed was very comfortable - both the main bed and the sofa bed. A great deal for a family trip to the Cotswolds. And the great outdoor beer garden with kids games.
We weren't sure what to do with the key in the morning as we wanted to leave before the pub opened. Luckily we found the chef who nicely helped us out.
