Standard of food very high, some unusual choices Walks down a quiet lane to the river and old church

Daily specials were the same every day!! So if you had lunch as well as dinner you were restricted to the main menu which did not change. People smoking under the bed room windows at the front of the pub, which we had to have open due to very hot weather and no aircon!

The location to Bicester village, the room was comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated with some lovely touches to ensure you are well looked after. The food was great and the staff very kind, friendly and attentive (but not invasive).

If we had stayed more than one night I would have considered a larger room and preferably not above the kitchen.

Highly recommend this boutique hotel for its comfort and cleanliness. The food is beautifully prepared and presented, from the eclectic dinner menu to the simple and ample breakfasts.

Room 8 bathroom does need a small table or surface for guests to put their own toiletries on.

Lovely building with helpful staff. Nice food off the menu and at breakfast. Liked the drinks making facilities in the room and the fresh milk.

After a rare very hot day the room really needed a fan or better ventilation at night.

We stayed in Room 7 and it was large, but as it was in the eaves had to be careful getting out of bed if over 6' tall. Friendly and helpful staff, and décor up to date. Restaurant excellent with good choice of evening meals. Would definitely stay again and ask for this room.

Friends stayed in Room 5 and this wasn't very large and only a small window, so a bit dark and we stayed on a sunny day!

We had a lovely stay! The staff were very nice and helpful. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast was also really good. Plenty to choose from if you do not want a cooked breakfast. We loved the pillows. Special thanks to Vicky, Suzy and Kevin. We will come back!

One of the nights it was a very warm summernight. A fan in the room would have been nice.

This is a great little establishment. The bedroom was very nicely decorated and clean, the restaurant food was excellent and represented good value, and the staff were always courteous and friendly. We stayed here for one night before the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and we're glad we did, it was a great find.

Great bar and restaurant. Excellent staff

Noisy and hot room over kitchen. Fitted with air conditioning but difficult balance between noise and heat. Kitchen vent noise does not help.

From start to finish the staff at the Bell could not have been more help full , they were great Ambassadors for their hotel. The hotel itself was spotless and the food was excellent . We cannot wait to return when we are next in that area. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who would be visiting the Oxford or Bicester.

The location was ideal as a base for daytrips through the area, and very relaxing after a week+ in urban lodgings.

Only one complaint: the ceiling height. If you're much over 6-ft, you'll find yourself very close to it.
