This is a jewel of a Inn conveniently located just off the main route between Bicester and Oxford. The staff were excellent, the dinner was excellent, the room was excellent, the breakfast was excellent. Nothing.

The location; the food; the welcome and over all friendliness of the staff; and the very good standard of accommodation. ...And the price I got from Booking.com which meant I was able to stay at The Bell. The price of one night B&B as quoted by The Bell's website... Way out of my league - which is not to say it isn't justified given the quality experience.

Very good location in terms of access to Oxford centre and country walks. The accommodation is excellent, the room and ensuite was exceptionally clean and well appointed. It is evident that the hotel is well maintained and a great deal of time/effort has been taken to ensure that it is of the highest standard. The food whas extraordinary good and The Bells have a great Chef. The staff are very, very, very friendly and made every effort to make our short stay an enjoyable one. That I could'nt stay longer !!

food shower room/decor friendliness of the staff having not remembered toothpaste, we thought they would have small packs available, but unfortunately not. My husband drove to the local supermarket. Although the manager on site did offer to share hers....

This was a real find, I was amazed when I arrived. The photo's on the website do not do it justice! I wasn't going to have anything to eat when I arrived, but the menu and the smells from the open kitchen changed all that - I had an amazing fish chowder. I will certainly be back sometime soon, but not for business, but pleasure and with my better half in tow!! I really can't think of anything!

Nice food Nothing to do with a 5 star... No mini bar in the room, no wardrobe, no safe, very very small room and very very small bed, basically is a nice 2 stars hotel.
