Yes! Our single beds were very unstable and the non slip mat in the bath was disgusting so couldn't even have a shower. When I pay over £100 for a room I expect to be able to have a clean shower |

We only stayed one night, but found it very comfortable, and will return again if and when we visit Lincoln again. |

The hotel and staff were excellent and the cleanliness of a high standard. We did not eat in the restaurant but there was a wide choice at breakfast. The hotel was a perfect location for the city of Lincoln and the taxi firm aligned to the hotel was handy. |

Pool and jaccuzzi very good. Room very comfortable Reception staff. The worse check in experience I have ever had. No welcome, no smile, no eye contact. As if she was just reading off a script. Very unfreindly indeed. Spoilt our special weekend. Because of this we decided not to eat there at night and went to a lovely pub next door. |

Excellent check-in, check-out procedures; no problems whatshowever Street noise was a problem during the night; a variety of breads for breakfast would increase customer value |

the fact that I was in a room near to the lift as I do ont like walking endless corridors on my own late at night the lighting and decor is rather sterile |

The pool, sauna ,steam room, and jacuzzi came up to my expectations. The pool was of a good size and the area felt relaxed. There was a good choice at breakfast of hot and cold options. Staff were efficient and polite. The Hotel has close proximity to the A46 i.e. undue traffic noise- could do with better insulation or screening. The gym was well equipped but it was clear that the attendant did not wish to show me how to use the machines although she said I was welcome to look at them! The gym was little used while I was there and I can understand why- it was very intimidating. The facilities were excellent and clean and more could be made of them. |

Reception staff pleasant on arrival - dealt with our request for a room away from the busy road politely and without fuss. Disappointed with our main courses in the restaurant. Overpriced for the standard of cooking. Cheese plate also disappointing. Selection was restricted due to unavailability of preferred choice and the Brie was served cold and under ripe. At breakfast, the kitchen did not keep pace with the demand at the buffet and there was a long wait for replenishment of eggs etc. I also was unable to log into the wifi network and as this was a business stay and part of the reason for choosing the hotel was for the access to the internet, this was very unsatisfactory. |

Everything but the bed. Food, staff and environment were all perfectly OK. If the bed had been OK, we would have scored the hotel highly. The bed was dreadfully uncomfortable with lumps and bumps - the worst in many years of travel resulting in bad back ache for both of us. For this reason alone, it would definiltely not be a hotel we could recommend unless this is addressed. It is also why we cannot give the hotel good value for money. |

I asked for a non smoking room and was given a smoking one, I asked for this to be changed, but the staff were not helpful at all and refused to change the room to a non smoking one. |

These thing were laughable...a fire alarm went off 3 time, once in the middle of the night 3am. The internet was very weak and did not work for 2 days. The tea was good. I thought I did not like coffee anymore until I left the hotel and had a cup. There was a mix up with my reservation the had me scheduled to check out a day early. When I went to check out the informed me the problem was fixed and charged me a cxl fee 88lds. To leave only hours after I was informed to leave due to no vacancy. Mathew the front desk clerk posed as management and would not let me speak to his superviser. Mathew was very rude and made my experiense unpleasant. Knowing he worked there I would not suggest anyone go while he worked there. As I gave in my costomer comment card he did not pass it on to his 'real' supervirse. I was charged higher prices than advertised on the website. I will not pay to stay there again. |

A pleasant hotel with adequate facilities. The restaurant staff need to be trained properly in the art of serving. They need to be told that they should not lean over a diners space. Very poor. |

Friendly, helpful reception staff After a long journey i was given my room card only to find the room had not been made up. Despite this a very helpful gentleman on reception rectified the problem immediately. The rooms located on the front of the building are quite noisy due to the traffic outside. |

Breakfast was good and swimming pool etc very good. We stayed 3 nights. They only charged me for 2. When I pointed this out the receptionist checked and changed it. He did not thank me for pointing this out. I could have got away with it and others probably would have. He needs a few lessons in manners. |
