The Berkeley  

Thoroughly lived up to its reputation as one of London's best hotels. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Kauffman's and drinks at the Blue Bar. Highly recommended for a perfect base in London.

Nothing stood out to deserve mention as poor or annoying.

Its a busy city hotel and although the staff were very attentive you did feel that you needed a lot of £10 notes

At first we were booked interconnected rooms which we wrnt lucky to find , the guest relations has upgraded us to a suit connected with a slight increase of the price. The hotel understood very well our culutuure and beleives and respected it and they have special tratment for kids where it made my boys realy satisfied. I strongly recoMmend it

The prices are a bit high and the hotel must keep refurbrishing the rooms to keep up. And to consider having some sort of loyality scheme .

Excellent service

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The room, hotel services, the spa and ... simply one of the best in knightsbridge.

The hotel is beautiful,with very helpful and friendly staff and probably the 2 best restaurants in London including Marcus Wareing restaurant which is exceptional .3 minutes walk and you can be in Harrods or Hyde Park amazing!

They have the best breakfast ,and the Blue bar is very nice.

I loved the feel of comfort/luxury. I loved that it was close to many London attractions. Our room was beautifully appointed, super comfortable in all aspects(lines, bed, pillows, etc), and clean! The spa/pool/exercise facilities are fantastic. The staff was superb.

I love the location...and the size of the rooms...the staff is lovely and welcoming ...and the room service food is very good...

I was placed in a room on the first floor the night of a wedding and the band and the dj prevented me from sleeping...they moved me to another room the last night but it was on the smoking floor and the whole room and accoutrements smelled of smoke. One day the fire alarm went off in my room, and I panicked...called the front desk and no one seem concerned and told me that it happens now and again. I will not stay there again.

The customer care was exceptional, and the hotel should be commended for this. Not obtrusive, nor pompous, but professional, helpful and friendly. The cleanliness was also impressive, particularly at the Spa. Staff even asked if I wanted the roof to the pool closed in the early evening as it may have been a bit chilly - it wasn't ! Attention to detail was impeccable. Housekeeping even knew our hotel room numbers even though I had never seen the staff before - impressive! Staff provided us with connecting rooms even though this had not been requested, which again impressed us! We are returning to London in September, and are likely to return to the Berkeley.

We stayed on the 2nd Floor, and there was some noise from a party until around 12.30 A.M. However, we received a courteous note to this effect.

Excellent service , one of the best hotels in London for sure . Top 3 .
