Everything was excellent from check in to the time we checked out!

TV didn't work, no wi-fi signal, room service stopped at 11pm, when I asked for a taxi they showed me to an unlicensed cab, too far from tube stations

We were there for the London marathon and found it a haven but also close to Tower Bridge where we could watch the race. Excellent location in what has become a charming area with great galleries, shops and riverside restaurants. Antiques market in square outside hotel on Saturdays. Rooms very comfortable and friendly staff.

Stayed here on the night before the London marathon and had a very quiet and comfortable night, with great location near to restaurants, tube stations etc. Room was very clean and a good size.

Extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay! Very quick check in with lovely staff who helped us to find bus routes. The room we stayed in was amazing - everything from the layout to the comfy bed and huge shower made our stay so fun. We also had a great view onto the courtyard where the sun came in, and were able to see the park. We were able to leave bags for the day. Tower Bridge was just down the road! Short bus journey to Waterloo/Southbank areas too.

Lovely warm welcome. Room was amazing with a great view of the Shard. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes a good night in London.

The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept really well both nights. The room was a good size for London and there was a good size desk in the room to log on. Nice to not have to pay for Wifi for once in a hotel. Receptionist (male) on the Sunday morning was excellent and really helpful.

Receptionist on Friday night was very abrupt and not very welcoming whilst checking us in. Other guests (and friends) who were also staying at the hotel had the same experience with her. Not easily accessible to the tube - 15 minute walk.

Location was perfect right were we wanted to be.

No choice on changing room temperature. Very stuffy every night. Can not open windows The lift broke down with us in it on our last day .

Diagonal layout of rooms is great for space and working and watching telly

We both thought that we had not seen such a miserable team of staff in a very long time.
