Comfortable beds. Very convenient location for us. Very accommodating when we arrived very late.
Curtains did not block out light from outside and did not fit the window! Not my choice to have black wallpaper! Only lighting was around room, no switch at the door
Found the hotel very warm and inviting , the breakfast was good and quick , would stay again .
Very friendly staff. Nice hotel will stay here again when in the area. Do fantastic currys in restaurant.
The question in the top part as not got a answer that is correct I was travelling with a work colleague
The staff are very helpful. Good parking area. Delicious breakfast.
The noise from other guests at all hours of the night. but I understand this is difficult for the hotel to control.
Not much if honest
After a long drive from leeds to Scotland we arrived at 20.55 and we're told the restaurant was not taking any more orders. We went into town then arrived back at the hotel at 22.50 and ordered drinks in the bar, the barman informed us the bar was closing at 23.30 and at 23.25 we were rather unceremoniously told to take our drinks up to our rooms by a lady in what looked like security guard attire. Not a good experience
The staff were very helpful and no request was denied
I found the decor old and tired. I felt the hotel could do with modernising. We booked a double room but the double bed was actually two singles bolted together with two separate matresses. As the stay was one night only it didnt create a problem but couldve gad it been a longer stay
No Cot in room even though was part of the deal no cots available Room was very expensive for what it was as was breakfast and dinner glad we opted for the fast food option disappointed wont be returning
was at wedding easiness to get to bed
No breakfast in the morning went to local place
Location was convenient to our needs. Food was good.
Room was dated and hallway dark. Wifi downstairs only, not in room.
Comfortable, friendly, helpful
Good Food and friendly staff
The room decor was in poor condition, wall paper coming off. The twin bed were on different level and they felt and looked old.
room smelling humidity even with aircon on. Very basic hotel. Pict
The welcome on reception and the helpful staff. A really good dinner, with good choice.
The rather loud intrusive music in the bar.
The executive room I stayed in was very nice. (Room 3)
The corridors from reception to the executive area need to be refreshed. They are very dark and warn/old carpet.
white linen on beds
Carpet on stairs and landing to bedrooms very shabby and could do with a good hovering. No lift and no offer of help to take our luggage upstairs
Staff arw very miserable, never got a smile, same food menu all day.everyday....prices r unreasonable 6 wheetabix and a coffee £20.86 joke...no wifi in room unless downatairs, only music channels on the tv in room...the only ppl.i did find very polite and smile r the cleaning staff...never got the room that was advertised so its all false advertising
I stayed for four nights and commuted into Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games. The location was excellent, less than five minutes walk from the station and the hotel is very reasonably priced. I can certainly recommend the Beveridge Park and hope to stay there next year when visiting the Edinburgh Festival (trains from Kirkcaldy take 35-45 mins into Edinburgh).
The rooms are pretty basic (but clean and perfectly adequate). There was a bit of a mix-up with my room key being de-programmed the day before I left and I ended up being locked out of my room, but it was soon sorted out by the helpful staff.
The reception staff ...
The room was dated. The dining room was very tired. The breakfast policy was a con .
Helpful and friendly staff, excellent receptionists, housekeeping always knocked and waited unlike other hotels who knock then come in anyway! The breakfast was excellent and the rooms look like they are being refurbished. A nice hotel that will be excellent when upgraded, the carpet on the stairs needs renewed, but that is just trivial. I would use this hotel again. The managing director was around a lot and made himself available for anything you needed to discuss.
Only the surface things, as it looks as if the rooms are being refurbished, the rooms could do with a lick of paint and maybe some upgrading of the furniture, but only for appearance as all the furniture was sturdy and whole, it was just outdated. This is not a complaint, just an observation.
Clean bathroom Comfy beds Friendly staff
Slight damp smell in room Unless you get superior room Nothing like pictures, standard room has no WiFi and some poor finishing on fixtures in room
Excellent staff. Friendly and efficient without being nosey.
The lack of a lift was a bit of an issue for us. The shower in my room was very very poor - no real pressure to speak of, and the shower head was tied into position, presumably a botched repair.
Very convenient for Kirkcaldy station and the town
staff were all helpful & friendly. needs based rather than rules.
not suitable for elderly or disabled no lift.steep stars --5 flights to top floor no groundfloor rooms.
we were at a wedding and the staff and facilities were just spot on there was not a complaint from any of the guests everyone had an amazing night food was very good so thank you very much for looking after us.............pete & Mj Grimes x
the only complaint I have is that I paid the hotel direct on the 21st of feb and they charged me again on the night we stayed on the 12th july I know it was a genuine mistake because another guest had the same name as me ,but it left me short of cash for the wedding, but I did not let it spoil my night I still think you have a lovely hotel and would not hesitate to use it again
No lift. Shower only dripped water. Room above the smoking area. Noisy
