The staff went out of their way to help especially Vanessa the housekeeper. Everyone made us feel welcome as they were chatty and helpful. We had stayed some years ago and were very impressed with the modernisation carried out. Very good quality furnishings and bed linen. Attention to detail good throughout. We will certainly return!

Very helpful and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was clean and tidy in a beautiful setting with ample parking. Food was good and well cooked, breakfasts were adequate.

Garden did not look very well cared for and gave a unfortunate impression. Dinner menu was good but specials menu was not changed during our 4 day stay.

This is a lovely hotel. I travel very regularly with work and this is one of the nicest places I have stayed for along time. The owners know what they are doing and it shows in the attention to detail from extra biscuits in the rooms to good quality toast... It's the small touches sometimes that sets properties apart. Very refreshing to see thank you.

Room was cold and towel rail not on. Due to car problems had to abort the second day & return home. We were charged for the day.No goodwill from the mangement .

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very good evening meal. Breakfast was cooked to order and was also very good. Bedroom very clean, excellent bathroom and the most comfortable bed I have stayed in for a very long while 5***(And I'm in hotels 2-3 times per week!)

The room was comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and warm. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent.

I have now stayed at this Hotel at least 4 or 5 times, so I can say I like it very much. I will not hesitate to make this hotel my first choice every time in this area.

Cannot think of one thing.

The staff were first class. Food was excellent and the rooms very comfortable and tastefully decorated. One downside..... I packed their hair dryer by mistake thinking it was my wife's only to be told she hasn't used one in 22 years !!!

The friendliness and efficiency of the staff along with the cleanliness was excellent. The food was of a high quality, albeit rather large portions. Rooms were very comfortable and of ample size. We would certainly recommend and return.

The hot water took a long while to come through, although very hot once it arrived. The tv was far too small for the size of the room which made it difficult to read any of the print, when looking for channels.

The staff is friendly and vẻn helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and a great value. The food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this inn and intend to stay at the inn the next time I'm there for business or vacation.

I have stayed here several times now and would always come here when visiting this area, whether for business or leisure. Quaint and historic building with lovely contemporary modern styled rooms. Food also great. Extremely clean and very comfortable as well as good value.

Being really picky here, but would be nice if breakfast in the week could be served a little earlier for business guests that have early meetings and have to be up and on.
