Very good,
Score from 468 reviews
“ Lovely hotel, couldn't beleive the price. As good as £100+ hotels in Brighton. Comfortable room, basic but clean. Nice continental breakfast, we were offered cooked breakfast for extra £3.50, which looked nice too. Loads of parking, free all night and £1 for the entire day, permit covers anywhere along Eastbourne front and adjacent roads. ”

The staff were friendly and helpful. We only had continental breakfast which was quite adequate. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The decor in our romm was very clinical -blue and white. The furnishings were of very poor standard.i.e.a plastic chair and wardrobe facia which was very poorly put together.

Very close to the Congress Theatre. Clean, friendly, good shower & comfortable beds. Breakfast choice was ample. Fluffy curtains & bed base which made room look tacky!

Verry friendly and helpfull staff. Nice lobby and bar. Located right next to the beach and within walking distance of the town center. Two of the rooms had stained bedlinnen. Bathroom faucet was leaking all over the bathroom and sink drainage plug couldn't be opened. Doors needed to be locked with the room key. If you just leave the room, the door is unlocked. Staff didn't warn us about that.

We liked the location, & our room had an excellent view of the sea front. The breakfast was also good value for money. We found the lift extremely noisy; the window in our room was broken; the hotel, generally, seemed to be aiming for a shabby chic vibe but only managed a shabby one.

I have recommended this hotel to a lot of people after my first stay . the matress was very uncomfortable sagging and squeaking with each movement. I reported it but no action or explanation was given. I requested for a clean receptacle, for beverages plus fresh tea /coffee bags as the ones I found in the room clearly showed age and stains from previous handling. This facility was never provided to me again and felt like an inconvenience to the staff involved

The hotel was nice and clean and easy to get to places .. I think for the £70 we paid for one night the room was a little small , and the bed was so un comfortable .

Upgrade to sea view was an unexpected but very welcome bonus! The room was an excellent size and the whole experience was very positive considering I had never heard of the hotel company and booked 'blind' on-line. I would definitely stay here ahain and recommend you to others nothing

Reception staff were very helpful - I was allowed to check-in at least 2 hours earlier than suggested. Mattress on bed was a little hard and pillows very flat - even using the 2 extra ones I still didn't feel comfortable.

Continental breakfast included in the price was good Good shower Would have been good value for money but for the drawbacks Mattress was completely worn out. Impersonal staff who didn't pass on our comment about the mattress, and clearly had been ignoring such comments for a long time Very poor ambience. Looked very run down Disturbed constantly by traffic and other guests

Good location, opposite beach, close to theatres and local restaurants and plentiful parking. Staff friendly. Dining/bar/lounge area comfortable and well suited to those with young children. Reasonable continental breakfast selection available. Bedding spotless and bed surprisingly comfortable. Not too impressed by internal stairs which had to be climbed from street level to reception - a bit offputting. Really did not like the grey fur curtains at the window and lining the bed base in the bedroom. I thought they made the room feel tacky and grubby and did not like to think too long about what they might be harbouring.

I booked a suite so the seaview was good. They issued parking cards.... Shower enclosure was totally unecceptable. No hand held shower head. Large room but no furniture such sofa or comfortable place to sit. Terribly ugly messy curtains. Perhaps if it was about 35+ % cheaper then i guess price would be more reasonable to the quality....
