Nightlight.squeeky bed hard pillows.
Very close to the theatre's, short walking distance along the beach to the town
Room felt very boxed in, very noisy corridor and bathroom wasn't that clean!
Loved the suite we had. Very clean. Roll top bath in room. Large TV at end of bed. Furry blue curtains kept out the light!! On 3rd floor at front so had fantastic sea view. Will definitely be back.
Pillows were a little hard for my taste. But that is just me - others would think they were fine.
pizza and sandwiches were good when ordered staff were friendly and helpful
breakfast was only continental and basic very noisy when other guests were walking around in their rooms
Room 319 was perfect for 4 nights. Quiet, spacious and private.
Single room the week before- too hot,TOO noisy- could hear EVERYTHING next door. Worst nights sleep
Room clean and had everything you needed. Would stay again and perfect location for the Winter Gardens.
Shame cooked breakfast was not included in price of room.
The breakfast was quite good. The price was good for what you get.
Noise from the pipes in the Bathroom. The designs of the room looked like a eclectic Bold Colors Gone Bad. pink which has gone off, the lighting was poor in the room and the grey furry curtain were over the top. Nice for a cheap stay over night but don't spend to long in the day in your room.
The heating was baking in the hallway but pretty cool in bedrooms. The other way round would have been better
No frills but excellent value. The main thing was crisp and clean linen and modern very usable bathroom.
Tv was old and not set up properly. Breakfast a bit too basic. BUT given the rate for b&b i will not complain
Bed was lovely - big and comfortable. Hotel staff were pretty friendly.
Shower was terrible - little more than a trickle. Could be because I was on the third floor, and probably shouldn't complain at this price. You do get showered, it just takes a little while to rinse off!
breakfast is plentiful.
there was nothing that i didnt like
location, value, friendly staff suite was very spacious.
Stayed in a suite. comfy huge bed. bath was fab. fluffy curtains!!! great view. tv everything we could have wanted for a last minute weekend away
only downfall was the nearly see through bathroom door. bit odd
Staff attitude of help.
The size of our room (218) was impressive and despite the weather the view was marvellous. Great value for money for a short stay. Would definitely consider again.
The mattress needs replacing. Squeaked and creaked with the slightest of movement. Bathroom needs more comprehensive window covering especially as front of hotel is floodlit! Hotel was Very warm.
The hotel is a typical sea side type building. It is quite modern and quirky inside. Staff are friendly, buffet breakfast is good, extremely good value for money. We've stayed in other more expensive places which aren't as good.
If I had to say anything negative - the lift needs a bit if attention ! It's old and creaky and very small but again normal for type and style of building
the room was large and very comfortable. the curtains were funky. I enjoyed the breakfast. had continental one day, English the nest. the staff were friendly and helpful.
the bathroom didn't have a blind. so felt exposed. the bathroom door stuck to the floor when you opened it.
continental breakfast. Price. Location over road from seafront.
walls were so thin heard everything from next door including TV till 2.30am.
Within walking distance of theatre and town. Good food. Everything well presented.
Easy access to conference centre and the beach.
Not much variety on the continental breakfast buffet.
The hotel was very clean and catered for our needs well.
The décor could do with a bit of an overhaul and the staff could be a little more friendly, in that we were welcomed well to the hotel but on returning from our night out we were not greeted or asked how our evening went.
Location was good!
Staff were rude, check in time rubbish (to late) room to bare, not enough plugs, bed uncomfy & noisy toilet leaked,
Very Clean bathroom and bedroom. The Receptionist (young man named Dorka, I think ? Please check staff rota ) who booked us in was extremely efficient and polite. Was a very good advertisement for your hotel. Continental breakfast had very good selection and coffee was excellent
Some paintwork, carpets and lift are beginning to look a little 'tired'. Don't understand why we had to PAY for WiFi. Should be freely available throughout the hotel.
The breakfast was nice although no options for dairy free (which I am)
First thing I noticed was the large fury curtains- interesting but grubby. No shampoo, shower cap, variety of refreshment and no free WiFi. bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky.very loud lift and only 10 tv channels and lack of EPG tv guide.would NOT recommend!
