car park way to small no wifi in the room i was told breakfast was from 7 to 830 when i got there at 830 apparently the shepherd gone home so no breakfast the rooms are also not very clean this is a contractors place for hotel moneynot worth the money
bedroom was very warm and cosy
No grab rails in the shower.Husband is disabled and could not use the shower
Did not cook food on saturday night washhand bason was by the side of the bed no room to stand between bed and bason shower was dirty beer tasted terable will not stay there again
Nice staff Full English breakfast
Wifi not too strong, unable to connect from my room
One of our party of 6 fell ill so we agreed to change one of the twin room bookings to a single on our arrival, however we were then charged for a twin room in the morning on check out. Not what was agreed so will not be recomending the black horse inn.
Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast was great... lovely sausages
The shower a bit hit and miss and bathroom ceiling needs a coat of paint.
location and friendly people
Parking was limited, no breakfast in the morning as the 'chef' was away although I was refunded cost of breakfast. The whole place was a bit tired. I wouldn't bring my wife there. It was merely somewhere to sleep.
Good location, less than ten minutes to the castle and shops etc. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly.
Bedroom was very small. No washbasin in the bathroom (it was in the bedroom and nowhere to hang a towel, the towel rail is in the bathroom!). Can't comment on the breakfast, that was served between 7.30 and 8.30 on a Saturday, far to early. Nowhere to leave the room key if you want to checkout after breakfast and before the pub opens. All in all a little expensive for what it is.
Big English breakfast.
Chef was away so no evening meals.
Separate room to pub
No where to park. Room super basic. Needs attention. Tired decor
Dirty, bedrooms hall way smelt awful
Location was good and staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice.
The parking was inadequate and I had to park on the road. The wifi wouldn't reach the rooms. Room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Breakfast was far too early (7.30-8.30). I was woken up at 5am by other guests.
free house without a decent beer, shower/toilet cramped and tired
Friendliness of owners
The cleaner was vey rude and attempted to clean the rooms early, before check out time and was snappy and unhappy that we hadn't left. She cleaned my room whilst I had popped out, and wasn't pleased she would have to redo it as I hadn't checked out and needed to use the new towel and soap for the shower. She also made unprofessional remarks about her employers. Her conduct soured the end of our stay.
A lot of minor things which were all quite annoying, loose springs in mattress, television leaning all over the place, shower room freezing cold, tea and coffee table too small breakfast selection limited.
no internet when advertised there was i booked it purely for that reason. dirty sticky door handles. carpet dirty. old fashioned decor smelly room, even tea bags had water stains. oh i feel sick talking about it all. lots other problems but i have not got time to write about them all. lucky we only used bed to sleep, went out and bought antibacterial gel. really not worth the money would never recommend feel annoyed as i could have chosen some where else but did not realise how bad this place was we stay away every weekend around britian and this is not as we expect or are used too,
Staff friendly, attentive, nothing too much trouble Bed comfy Location ideal for Warwick castle and town centre
Smell in the room Damp Breakfast far too early for a Saturday (7-8.30am)
Friendly staff. Location for the town is excellent. Wifi and the room was warm.
To make it a family room another bed had been placed in there leaving no room to move about. No wardrobe or side units to put anything. A shelf placed where u could hit your head on it when in bed. Open plan bathroom door was unusual?Insufficient parking, I was on the street.
Location, value for money, homely pub, good breakfast
Not a big problem but would prefer not to have the wash basin in the bedroom
The staff were extremely helpful
A little on the pricey side, due to the age of the rooms
The staff was nice, you got a free breakfast and it was not a far walk to local attractions.
The room seamed to be falling apart, the drapes were falling off, the window didn't close, their was an un known substance on one of my pillow cases, there was mold around the pipes in the shower and I was paying 45 pound for the night.
Good bed, comfortable. Good TV.
Low flow on shower, with nowhere to put soap/showergel. Toilet pan not fastened to floor!
The family room was cramped and had no furniture. Very basic.
Small room but comfy bed.
Cramped parking.rushed breakfast with no options of fruit cereal etc. Bit noisy in the evening with smokers outside the pub.
