The staff were friendly and helpful. I also liked the fact that the Black Horse Inn was so close to the centre of Warwick.

The owners were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was fine.

The room was rather small, didn't really need such a big wardrobe (there would have been space for an easy chair without it) as I expect most people only stay one or two nights.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. The staff are great, very welcoming and warm. We stay for one night for an annual car show and have to be up early, requiring an earlier than normal breakfast, this is not a problem here. Very accommodating. Thank you again for making us feel welcome. See you next year.

The choice of food was good in the pub

There was nothing I didn't like but perhaps a menu at breakfast would have been nice to see what you get so if you don't like something you can tell then and not waste it

The staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was basic but good and filling.

The rooms were very dated and not altogether clean. Valance on our bed was disgustingly filthy around the edges on bottom near the floor, no top sheet on bed, just the quilt. Very hard uncomfortable bed, no ventilation in room, could do with a fan for these hot nights. Although the water in the shower was hot, you needed to run round to get wet! The area where the bed is pressed up against the wall needs cleaning and painting. Very off putting. It wouldn't cost much to update these rooms to the standard that travellers expect and it would make the inn a place to return to.

We booked here a week prior to a Wedding we were attending in nearby Hatton. We were only travelling from Nuneaton but staying over was such a better option than getting an expensive taxi to Hatton and back. The girl at reception was friendly and booked us in very promptly and showed us our room. We got a local taxi to the wedding then back again later that night, the bed was comfortable and the room had a small shower which was much needed after the dancing at the wedding. Breakfast the next morning was rather delayed due to the amount of guests but the hostess made us feel welcome and got us out breakfast as soon as she could. We had no plans and it was raining super hard so were fine to have a relaxing morning in the pub. Would comeback here again and recommend it to others.

Comfy beds. washing facilties good. Location near town. Dealt with issue reasonably when made aware.

Location of rooms of rooms close to smoking area, and although staff did move on the patrons releatively quickly once we stated the problem. Prior to this there was swearing and extremely loud conversations going on by the smoking patrons very close of the rooms. Not ideal for young children! Therfore they need to rethink location for patrons. Breakfast was fair, quality of sausage poor and four slices of toast for 3 paying guests not adequate. They were not forth coming with more when we asked; though they did give us some.

Close to everything, clean, and inexpensive while providing all the facilities that tourists and travellers basically require in transit. Super friendly staff, who were helpful at all times, and well cooked generous english meals.

Not a complaint but the parking was rather snug making opening car doors without scratching another's car a bit tricky.

Warm welcome! Then, they offered us a 2-for-1 Castle voucher AND let us park there while we went to the castle, after we checked out. Easy walking distance. Get fish & chips on your way back thru town - Pot and Fin.

Wifi was great in the lounge but spotty in room.

Location is very good for Warwick castle as you have free parking on the premises. Also good for Stratford whoch is notoriously booked out. Staff is very friendly. Room is clean, bu Ikea furnished and as such seems not to take the heavy use very well.

For the price it's rather run down.
