Room was comfortable and clean, with lots of complimentary items (soaps, shampoos, drinks, etc). Didn't feel the bar/ restaurant was very inviting. Second night preferred to eat elsewhere.

Reception staff friendly- room nice enough but pretty standard rather than the deluxe room booked Room heating not on when arrived-cold weekend- on sunday morning went to read papers in lounge which was cold and fire not lit until after 12- expecting excellent breakfast, but ingredients seem to be value products and not locally sourced- had better value bread from tesco- no one made up the room on the sunday morning even though we were out of the room for much of the morning/afternoon- overall a disappointing stay and not worth the premium price paid and regret not going to the cheaper Holiday Inn down the road where our friends were staying

Rickety old rooms full of character. Guests seem to pay a large range of prices, so prices may be negotiable.

We were staying at The Black Horse Inn in order to attend a family party for my dad's birthday/New Year. Most of the organisation was done by my mum, but I spoke to Jane by email to arrange wine during the meal and fizz for midnight and she was very helpful. The party was perfect: the room was arranged beautifully, with plenty of space for the musicians and for dancing, the bar staff and service staff were very friendly - and very helpful with the recorded music too. The food was very tasty, and the wine was served exactly as I'd requested. The rooms were lovely - full of character, with luxury bathrooms including very nice toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. The food at breakfast was also excellent, and the service was very good considering they were a little short staffed (due to illness).

We stayed there after a family party on new years eve. The team couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and we had lots of fun There were a few other guests that were very loud after we went to bed ( it was after 4am)

The room was amazing, very cozy! A great place to stay if your looking for a getaway, a little hidden gem, somewhere to spend a little quality time with your loved one!!! A beautiful place.

Our room was clean & well supplied with bathroom accessories Our breakfast was pretty poor - considering the pirce of the overnight stay.Althought we were down for breakfast, well within the advertised time, there was no buffet breakfast available & the cooked breakfast was served cold. The dining area was being cleared as we ate. Not quite what we expected for the room rate.

We came to the area to be near haworth. It was a wonderful, pleasant suprise after a depressing journey. The owners and staff were very helpful and kind. The meals were beautifully prepared served and a pleasure to eat. The room we had was neat and comfortable. I have been all over the world and stayed at many hotels and this experience was the best of it's kind.a very enjoyable weekend experience.

Good food in bar. lovely bar staff. Nice sausages at breakfast. room decor was very tired with possibly the smallest shower in the entire universe (despite it being a good sized bathroom with plenty of room for a normal sized shower) Premier Inn has better maintained decor and showers so for a "luxury" gastro pub/wedding venue I was disappointed. TV didn't work properly, and only got 3 channels. staff at breakfast seemed much more interested in choosing their own breakfasts from the buffet than in waiting at tables.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them.It was our first time in a hotel with our new Labrador dog,of course we were a little apprehensive of how he would settle, but the owners and staff were understanding and "dog friendly" Many thanks, Dan,Joyce and Chester :-)

The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The outdoor areas are wonderful. The breakfast was very disappointing, my wife and I ordered full English and had to leave it as the bacon Sausage and black pudding were solid and must have been cooked hours before. First impression great last impression not to good.

Lovely building, the patio area is a delight, Friendly, efficient staff, comfortable rooms finished to a high standard. Very comfortable bed, good bed linen. The lighting in the Mumm room is dreadful. Only one very poor, small bedside lamp, even though it was a double bed. The ceiling lights are much too bright to have on all the time, but that was the only alternative. There also needs to be a table lamp on the dressing table to make the room more inviting. Such a shame someome hadn't realised this, because everything else was very good.

The breakfast is always enjoyable and the atmosphere is always pleasant in the pub. The bed in our room was old and is ready for replacing. The pipes made a tapping noise very early on the Sunday morning and woke us up when we were looking forward to a lie in.

From the greeting through to departure, we had excellent service. The room was as we had hoped, but more than that was the attention paid by the staff. I would class it as 5 star as we wanted for nothing.
