It was just an all round great experience.
Beautifully decorated rooms with well thought out names instead of numbers. Friendly staff. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast!!! Amazing place to stay!!!!
No real place to check in or out.
An ideal location, friendly helpful staff, and excellent food. Trying to find an excuse to return!

Good Food & Nice Rooms Highly Recomended

Excellent four day stay. Lovely friendly staff always smiling and helpful. Great choice of restaurant food with chef's special dishes such as Seabass. The room was first class with eceptional facilities. The bar has a good selection of beers to enjoy in comfortable surroundings. we will be back.
The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, the food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will certainly be back for another visit!
Great service, great food and lovely rooms. Staff went out of there way to accommodate us in the restaurant after a very busy Sunday lunch service.
Rooms Staff Food Cleanliness
Restaurant serving good evening meal and breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and good facilities. Plenty of parking space.
Poor sound insulation within the building.
The room was excellent in all aspects except one. The facilities for dining was good with a good choice
The room was too warm!
rooms were lovely and modern. tea/coffie and biscuits in room. food lovley. good quality for ur money.
no reception so no where to check in or ask about check out times, were to go for breakfast etc. staff friendly but asked a few members of bar staff the same question and they each answered differently which confused us even more.
We stayed at the Black Swan prior to going to Tatton Park flower show. The location was excellent to go straight there and the staff were extremely helpful printing off directions when I forgot to bring them with me! When we arrived we were shown to our room by a member of staff which is not something you get very often nowadays. We asked for a quiet room and it was. The room was very clean and a good size with a huge bed even though it was booked as a double. The décor was of a very good standard. The day we arrived was one of the hottest for a while and a fan had been kindly placed in the room and already going in an attempt keep it cool when we arrived. Will definitely book again next time we go to Tatton.
There wasn't really anything negative to say. I've only put the quality of sleep as good rather than excellent because it was so hot we therefore had trouble sleeping. The one minor downside was our bottle of white wine with dinner wasn't very cold, but considering how hot the day was and it looked like they'd had a function on earlier that day/evening, they had probably had a rush on cold wine! It was still a very nice bottle of wine and thoroughly enjoyed :-)
staff where excellent , breakfast excellent room was beautiful and clean sue was very attentive and accommodating , would definitely return
stay was too short
Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, good breakfast.
Spacious, clean, well furnished room Friendly staff Good food
The food was excellent and the location was perfect for our little break. Country feeling with marquee, ducks and little pond.

First class facilities. The rooms could not be faulted, well equipped with good en suites. Very spacious and clean. Excellent food. First class staff .Very professional operation. Large car park with well kept gardens ( with duck pond ) Would definitely return.
Really impressed with this place and would certainly tell other friends if they are wanting a place to stay around this area. Food lovely, staff very friendly. over all very good.

Having to leave
The food was great and the staff were all very friendly. We stayed for two nights and couldn't fault anything
Nice room, clean & fresh
Toilet would not flush properly
Pub was good
I asked for a quiet room when booking - the room they gave me was situated above a speaker in the bar used for the P.A. system. On one night there was a quiz and on another there was Bingo. The noise was ridiculous - the person on the microphone could have been sat in the bedroom it was so loud. The wifi was rubbish - whilst trying to skype call I managed no more than 2 r 3 minutes conversation before the signal dropped-off. I ordered scrambled egg one morning which took around 20 minutes - I'm not sure why as there were only 2 of us having breakfast. The egg contained lots of black bits - when I complained, the waitress said 'it's black pepper' - it wasn't black pepper, it was the coating from a non-stick pan. To be fair, she did then acknowledge that it wasn't pepper and gave me a reduction on the food bill. It's a shame I had this experience because the decor in the rooms is very nice and it's in a nice village location.
Really well done they are beautifully decorated and very spacious
