Lovely spacious room. Very comfortable public rooms.
Great location, fantastic food and friendly staff
The wifi. A problem that is already known about and should be straightforward to resolve.

Beautiful village location. Food and accommodation excellent, staff attentive and smiling, will definitely visit again.
Our stay was too short.
the staff were excellent nothing was a trouble . Bedroom very comfortable. lovely food
We were upgraded to a suite with a separate lounge and kitchen area. The bedroom and ensuite were v good and location for our overnight stop on route to Scotland was excellent. Food also excellent
Wi fi only worked in bar and very limited mobile signal
We loved it and would definitely go again and recommend to family and friends
My phone is O2 so no signal. The wifi didn't pick up in my bedroom so No laptop Internet either.
Friendly, clean,good food good location.
Fabulous place! We will definitely be back.
Liked the pub areas, the choice of beers, the ambience of the bar and the food quality & menu choice at dinner. Also liked the bedrooms (7 & 10). Enthusiastic staff.
Lack of reliable WIFI, butter packs at breakfast, orange juice that wasn't freshly squeezed.
Nice staff, nice beer, nice food
We were there at the same time as two large groups so I think we may have been put in the "substitute room" and forgotten about - staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with the two large groups and how busy it was which is not their fault but there should be more on when they know they are busy. Small room, poor bed/mattress, no shower and no cold water.
Nice, clean and fresh room with comfortable bed, and beautifully decorated. Food was excellent especially the Smoked Duck and there was plenty of choice. Stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. Staff friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to another stay there soon.
There’s nothing to not like.
Lovely individually styled rooms. Comfortable bar area. Peaceful location. Good food. Would recommend it .
Apartment attic room 9 Excellent staff Great value food Beautiful location
Lovely village location.
Booked deluxe room and was allocated worst room in the Hotel. Only a slit for a window overlooking car park at feet level..!
Location was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was to a high standard.
Excellent service, friendly staff and very good food.Room was clean ,comfortable and spacious.Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.Very good value for money too.
Everything! The room and view were gorgeous, the decor and facilities well thought out and the food was beautiful. In fact, it was the first time in a long time that my husband had ordered a steak and got it cooked perfectly - first time. Nothing was too much trouble. The weather was lovely, so we chose to eat lunch in the private garden across the road/lane from the hotel. We were waited on exactly the same as if we were in the restaurant. Well behaved dogs are also welcome. They have dedicated rooms for dog owners and dining areas both indoors and outdoors where dogs are allowed. All in all a fantastic place.
The ONLY thing I could criticize (only due to the uncharacteristic hot weather) was the small amount of ventilation to the room. Unfortunately, only one of the windows could be opened.
very comfy room, excellent friendly staff, good value food and wine, excellent selection of beers. walking distance to good par three golf course.
small point but prefer wine to be opened at table not brought to dinner table already uncorked
