Small friendly inn with everything a visitor might need. Good atmosphere and a lovely courtyard area out at the back of the inn - perfect for summer mornings and evenings! Very friendly and helpful staff

    Location

This hotel has memory foam beds. They are so uncomfortable, hard and hot. We had to put the duvet under the bottom sheet to soften the bed a bit so we could get to sleep. Had these in another hotel to, they are impossible to sleep on.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent food.

Location makes the front rooms noisy with cars and motor bikes. Juke box noise far too loud, also it carried upstairs.

The welcoming friendly staff. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is well located in Newton Stewart and is typical of a well patronised local pub. Pub meals were reasonably priced, convienent and most importantly delicious.

The automatic scent dispenser in the room. I unplugged it as soon as we arrived and put it outside the room.

I have stayed in quite a few hotels but the staff here were the best I've encountered. They were welcoming and very friendly and helpful from beginning to end. The room had lovely furniture and although it had a pub downstairs it was quiet.

This was a great place to stay. The staff are very attentive and nice, the rooms are superb, and the location is ideal. Even the regulars at the bar were fun to be around.

The wifi was not very strong in the room we were in but it wasn't a huge deal for us.

The staff were lovely & very helpful

We were not given the room we had booked because booking.com had not told them we had booked a specific room; neither had it informed them of my dietary requirements despite my having put them on the form. So my dislike is not of the hotel, which did its best, but with booking.com for its failure to give them all relevant information
