The location was good near to all the livley bars and pubs
shower shocking!! Drip drip drip how about getting a power shower ! No hot water from the shower in the morning, had to wash my hair in the sink!
Sorry can't think off any thing we liked except location off hotel
Well no heating for the four days we stayed windows did not help as they would shut.the hot water their was none but the person let us use different room were their was some worm water
kieth the manger very helpful and friendly breakfast was nice clean rooms great location for the winter gardens good value for money thanks for nice stay x
Staff very friendly location
9 o'clock breakfast should be a bit early
Good breakfast Unfortunately we paid for a deluxe room and only got a standard but all has been sorted for my next stay when the room will be right and the reviews will be excellent
Location friendly staff the manager was very helpfull and very easy to get on with breakfast was brilliant, would book there again ,
Booked a late night away to see the illuminations wasn't looking for anywhere fancy so booked here basic room with three single beds comfy enough. Breakfast was good could have had a better choice of cereal but overall it did for the one night we needed
As we walked along the corridor to our room there was a very strong smell of cigarettes thankfully the room was ok. Kettle was on the floor not ideal when you have a young child. Main grievance was the entertainment which if I had known about I would have booked else where, our room must have been above the bar where a very loud female sang until around midnight, thankfully my son went to sleep before it started and slept through my husband and I who wished for an early night after a long day with a small child who rises early simply had to lie and wait until it finished
the ensuite bathroom was reasonable , breakfast was good but not enough staff and they werent organised
we booked a deluxe room , we paid £210 for 3 nights B&b , soon as we walked in they were wanting the remainder of the money ,without even seeing the room . we were supposed to have two double beds in the room but they were singles ,the room was small , there was an alcove in corner of room with 5 coat hangers on a coat rail , a set of kiddies drawers and a small bedside cabinet , the blind on the window only covered 3/4 of the window and there was a lace thing stuck to the outside of the window so we couldn't see out, so much for a deluxe room ! if we had been stopping for a week this would of been very poor , I did not complain because my wife is poorly and didnt want to upset her , there were cigarettes ends and cigarette packets outside main entrances.
Lovely friendly staff and very helpfull and nice food.
Waiting staff very poor waited a long time for food and asked for toast with breakfast and never arrived asked a four times.
The staff were polite and helpful, very nice staff.
I did not like the fact it is advertised with full English breakfast but alternative days you had to have either black pudding instead of mushrooms and alternative days you had to have tomatoes instead of beans, thus taking away choice of a full breakfast as we do not like either black pudding or tomatoes. Bedrooms had no wardrobe just a hanging rack and a set of drawers, there was no chairs or dressing tables, there was no lamps or wall lights, it was the most basic hotel I have ever stayed in, there was no complimentary shampoos, soaps etc apart from a very watered down hand wash, it was that watered down it did not even froth. The first room we were put in was so tiny and nowhere to put our stuff, the toilet did not flush and the draws fell down when opening one, we were moved to a bigger room but this was so basic and looks nothing like the photos that they have advertised. The only cleaning of our room while we stayed was the bin in the room got emptied although they never emptied the bathroom bin, nothing else was tidied and beds were not straightened. This hotel was not value for money as it was so basic, they should reduce their price to reflect what you get.
Location, cleanliness, staff
The staff were great and friendly even offered to carry our bags to our rooms. Breakfast was good too. Clean rooms and comfy beds Let us leave bags during day after departure. Great location near winter gardens and shopping centre. Reasonably priced alcohol too
street view rooms was noisey on a night but the weather stopped us closing window as ot was too warm but I'm sure if it was cooler outside and with window closed we wouldn't have heard all noise. And dont get a remote in room and didnt notice sign to get from reception untill depature.
Location great and the breakfasts were really good. The lady who served the breakfast was lovely too. Very friendly.
We were in room 22 and it wasn't really the standard of room we are used to staying in. Very small and cramped and at first we thought the bathroom was a locked cupboard, because we couldn't open it. Needed a refurb. There were better rooms (7+8 are good we got told). So maybe we were just unlucky.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean. good food, very good location. would stay there again. Planning on going back next year so will be booking to stay there. Great price too.
only thing the window in my room wouldn't open and the room was very warm.
The bed was comfy, the food was nice, the staff was pleasant.
There didnt seem to be many staff around at any time. The water in the shower was cold. Few things i should have said when i was there but didnt. Got overcharged with some drinks at the bar, no bottled water in the room as stated. The landings were in the process of being decorated which i dont think should have been done at high season with customers.
Very clean , polite and very helpful staff
Only complaint ,the shower had low water pressure and temperature was only warm.
Basic accomadation but great staff, very clean, comfy beds, central and a very good full English breakfast!!
Quite happy for cost.
Staff were very helpful pleasant and friendly room was clean and tidy with comfy bed.
Not enough storage to many fancy tables but only one single wardrobe I would not say a luxury room just good and spacious .
it was quiet and a good location
there was no chair in the room so had to sit on the bed , the bar smelt of urine so we did'nt stay in there to have a drink , when we did decide to have a drink we couldnt find anyone to serve us , i rang the bell a couple of times but no one came so we went out , if the bar did'nt smell perhaps the guests would have stayed to have a drink other guests had said the same thing , shame really cos the place itself was ok
We got a booking at this hotel on very short notice Keith the manager was very friendly and helped my husband to carry the cases to the rooms which we found were clean and very inviting the only thing I would critisize was that there were no chairs in the room but there was a wardrobe and chest of drawers the beds were beautifully dressed and very comfortable .We had cereal and a full breakfast menu eg scrambled egg poached egg full English and anything that my granddaughter asked for she got eg 1 sausage ,brand on toast ect.you could also have an evening meal we didn't have any as we like to O eat at different places when on holiday the staff were lovely the owners as well and we were given vouchers for 10per cent of our next holiday thankyou blackpool hotel we enjoyed staying with you and will definitely be back .
The only thing that we didn't like was that there were no chairs in our room and we had to sit on the beds ,but I believe that the room is to be up dated and the reason we were given this room was that the family rooms were at the top of the hotel and I have mobility problems so it was easier for me to be in room 5
Room 33 (in the attic) not clean, clumps of hair in corner. Shower was a drip, small bathroom floods when you open the shower door. We stayed 2 nights and no clean bedding or beds were made after the 1st night's stay. TV didn't work as remote control was missing.
very friendly, good clean rooms & dining room great breakfast.
very friendly hotel. Management and staff lovely.
