Although I have already given feedback I will repeat: Carole and Elliott are wonderful hosts, so welcoming and warm as is Lowther House. We loved the location and visiting our Son and his family who live close was easy and a very pleasant walk. Everything at Lowther House was lovely and we did so appreciate the cleanliness which is something you don't get in hotels. We hope to stay again before too long

Nice room with plenty of storage. Lovely bathroom with a view from the loo 🤣 Huge comfy bed. Great food on the evening and next morning. Attentive, friendly staff and the only person who has ever got my fussy dachshund to eat sausage!!
