Room VERY small. Breakfast VERY expensive.
Location, Staff, Facilities
Standard Room a little small for a 2-night stay.
Excellent location for trip to theatre. Very comfortable.
noisy for some times
This hotel was much nicer than we expected. Customer service was outstanding, rooms very nice...just fab.
Didn't bother with the ridiculously priced breakfast - headed out to a local coffee shop instead.
Front desk staff are excellent. I love the decor and the scented candles around the hotel. The location is excellent. The conscierge are helpful.
The service at breakfast was appalling, slow and disorganised.
Very marvelous staff and great location
Not enough storage in the room, so be prepared to live out of your suitcase!
Glass of mulled wine on arrival and chocolates placed on pillow whilst out. Glass of Bucks Fizz with breakfast. These extras made our stay even more perfect. It was perfect and we'll be back !!
Nothing to dislike.
The room was pure luxury! There were so many little things that made the stay so much more pleasurable! The staff were all very friendly and attentive.
I don't think there was anything that we didn't like!
Aromatherapy associates toiletries Comfortable bed you had to climb into in. Nespresso machine Good selection in the mini bar. Warm welcome, mulled wine Location near oxford street Turn down service
One minor thing, was only able to have one tea in room on arrival, due to not enough milk, would of liked one in the morning. Would of asked but being New years eve got back to room late and went straight to bed.
Room 530 was too hot air con?
Excellent service from friendly staff. Quality hotel in superb location.
Good friendly staff, cleanliness , central location .
Parking fee, hotel should be able to provide this facility.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Greeted with hot towels for our hands which was great as it was a very cold day. The room was very comfortable but a little smaller than expected.
Love the hotel and location. 5min to tube station, everything very clean and comfortable. Rooms are very welcoming. Staff helpfull
I have a feeling that they increased prices over the last year quite significantly. Stayed more than once in this hotel already, though atm I am not willing to pay their standard rate - in the end it is just a room you sleep in. So I only go when a offer is on. We forgot my wifes hair dryer last time. It takes ages to get hold of the house keeper in charge. Either isn't there or busy, left various msgs and never calls back. Still no sign of the hair dryer and they seem not very bothered.
We have booked in to the Bloomsbury for the last three years for a pre christmas stay.. everything was great from the welcome at the door to the decor and Christmas ambience . The rooms have always been excellent .we .will be back next year.
Great atmosphere. .friendly staff
I liked the hotel because it has a lot of historical character.
Room was a little stuffy. a/c difficult to regulate
the last two people with a spoke in the reception
we had a lot of problem during three nights cold in the room and the bathroom freeze for a entire night wooden windows of the room vibrated for the wind leaving us not sleep, low maintenance on the first night, opening a box I dropped a piece of paper, which has remained the next day, after cleaning ... and finally we required the alarm and we did not wake up !!!
always enjoy our stays.
bath plug took 10mins. to drain after a shower. window sill rotting.,just an observation.
Excellent location for Dominion Theatre & Oxford Street. Good service & friendly staff.
Staff attention to detail. Quality of room and bed.
Hotel staff were very welcoming on reception and the general common parts of the hotel are nice Edwardian Style. The room and sheets were clean.
Room was way to hot and noisy from the room upstairs creek, creek, bang, creek....The bed leant to the middle and felt small for a queen size. I don't understand a bath with no taps though? Strange! Had to fill it from running the shower
