Convenient location Friendly staff Quiet room Attractive decor Comfortable beds
Very limited food choice for late dining
The staff were friendly but could have been a bit better trained.
The showers are the worst I have experienced in years. All that came out was a slow and very weak trickle of tepid water. Appalling! I would never stay here again. The food was poor as well, overpriced and poor quality. Room was basic. Toiletries cheap and nasty. Not a good experience at all.
Warm welcome from a very pleasant and friendly staff. Comfortable feel to the hotel and the room. Clean and tidy with freshly laundered linen. Breakfast was very good too.
Some equipment/ machinery whining during the night either a ove or below room 206 which disturbed sleep
The hotel was lovely and staff very attentive, would go back.
problem with AC
beautiful, period hotel with excellent staff & service
As we checked in we were offered a drink or hot towel to refresh ourselves from travelling.
great location polite staff comfortable room
small bathroom when using shower water spillage on floor small bedroom considering price
Queen Bed Superior; Great room, comfortable and all the trimmings. good breakfast in an enjoyable setting with attentive and courteous staff. Well worth the extra cost..... Location is also excellent, Bloomsbury being more relaxed than the hubbub of Covent Garden, which is also local. Thanks for an excellent weekend. We'll be back!
My husband loved the bed, well appointed room. Nice to have coffee and tea fixings in the room. Fruit in the lobby a great touch. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant with very attentive service!
Not enough time in London!
Extreme friendly staff Hotel perfectly located for a sightseeing trip. Rooms are clean and well equipped
Bar in the basement.
Room was nice and spacious. Staff we're friendly. Bar area was nice. Enjoyed our stay and will stay again.
Only enough milk and sugar for 1 drink in the room. Also only 1 little shower gel for 2 people.
The staff were extremely friendly and more than happy to help The hotel also gave a card and cake as the trip was for a birthday, would visit again!
The hotel was beautiful (and smelled lovely!). Great location for our trip.
Good location, pleasant staff, clean hotel. Our room was a good size
Location was perfect for sightseeing, shopping or a show...and in a safe area. Easy access to airport and underground. Room amenities were great & bed very comfortable. Good sized room. Breakfast was organised and very good. Whole hotel was extremely clean. Staff were all very pleasant, helpful and accommodating.
Location Staff Room
The room was reasonably big for London. Very quiet and clean.
The mattress was very used and you sank in on it.
When we visit London, roughly every eighteen months, we stay in Bloomsbury because of its nearness to the things we like to do (theatre, museums, restaurants) and because it offers many interesting walks in all directions. Usually we use B&Bs but, because none were available, we booked the Bloomsbury--and we cannot wat t return. The staff make it feel like B&B (personal, friendly service with n pretensions) while the place itself feels like a small, luxury hotel. The breakfasts (extra cost) were extraordinarily good and varied, and the bar was a pleasant place to end the day.
Our room was a little cramped.
Check in staff very friendly.
It would be good if a room is checked before being given to a new guest. Television was not working Room was hot in the night
Beautiful lobby, comfortable immaculate accommodations, friendly helpful staff. Quiet and close to tube station. Wouldn't hestitate to stay again.
Breakfast too pricey, but typical for this quality of hotel.
Very Freindly excellent hotel I've never been called Sir so many times In 2 days
Nothing....but if I had to pic on one thing at breakfast my table had crumbs on the seat and floor....otherwise everything was perfect and excellent and I will Come back
Staff were faultless.
Bed sagging in middle. Reading light not working.
Location is great, wifi is very good.
Stairs of front door...and a little expensive though..
