Cotton and feather bedding, quiet room, window that opened. Staff efficient and friendly.
A secret hideaway of luxury!! We had a lovely weekend. The hotel staff were trained to a high standard and were very attentive. The hotel was beautiful and a great location for exploring.
The loved the location of the hotel close to Soho. The Bloomsbury felt luxurious, and it was a real treat to have bathrobes and slippers provided as well as a coffee machine in the room.
Price of the drinks. Not a great view out of the window.
Beautiful looking building, friendly efficient service, fabulous reception area, excellent rooms with such comfortable beds.
The location was great, the doormen were nice, the wine in the bar very good.
I wasn't sure that the room we got matched our reservation, a superior double, rather than a standard double. But with steely politeness I was told that superior double rooms came in different sizes and I was welcome to inspect others. Also, the bed was wobbly. And some lights didn't work.
Extremely comfortable, very clean, excellent location, very good 24 hour diner down the road and very close to Tottenham Court tube station, free computer/printer use, amazing shower, Sky Sports in the room - we'll be back!
Very expensive to drink/eat - didn't touch the (amazingly well stocked!) minibar! A bath would have been nice but the shower was luxurious!
Very clean. Staff very helpful. Good location.
The hotel was amazing but we had no hot water on either days
We liked the location and the easy access to theaters and restaurants.
No bad experience!
Very good location of the hotel in Bloomsbury. Well-done breakfast.
Large comfortable room. Excellent maid service. Turned down bed with chocolates !!
Brilliant breakfast but expensive (?) at £26 each.
Disappointed that the price didn't include breakfast ,doubt if we will use it again
Location, staff, breakfast, size of the room.
The hotel is in a good location within walking distance of Oxford Street, the British Museum, Leicester Square, Piccadilly, Shaftsbury Avenue and Covent Garden. We didn't need to use our Oyster cards at all. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and well equipped and the Wifi worked well. The staff were very polite and helpful
A small freestanding basin with nowhere to put toiletries/cosmetics. Not a big problem, just a little awkward. Eating/drinking at the hotel seemed expensive but there are plenty of places nearby where you can buy breakfast at half the price if you want to save your money for London's attractions.
- Excellent staff, very friendly - Nice decoration in the hotel - Beds are superb - Toiletries are among the best we ever had - Located along a quiet street. Central London just outside your doorstep
Nothing to worry about. If there is a problem, the staff will solve the problem right away.
The location, staff, relaxing vibe of the hotel
The standard room was very small
I've been to many 5 star hotels and this is by far one of the best. from fabolous facilities, 3 time room services and great conference hall!
All top class.
Location was excellent
Returning to my room after being out during the day and it still hadn't been made up at 2.30 in the afternoon!
We liked the warm welcome at the front door. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the hotel very comfortable. We loved the short walk to the British Museum.
The room The bar Polite and friendly staff
Room was a little small
Staff was friendly and helpful Beds were comfortable Very close to tube station. Clean and quiet.
Not in a very good area of London. Close to theatres but that was not something we were interested in. We used the tube that was nearby to get to the places we wanted to see. Location would prevent me from staying again.
The hotel used to be the London YWCA, and we (couple) returned after 50 years since having first met at Sunday-service in the chapel of the YWCA in '64. The chapel still exists, unchanged now used as meeting-room. When we asked if (for nostalgic reasons) we could have a look in the chapel, they laid on to our delight a free full- tea and champagne treat in the chapel for the 2 of us. How can you beat that!!!
Friendliness of staff very friendly with our little kid especially the breakfast staff in the morning and very close to all the sites and shops
very friendly staff and a warm welcome . rooms small but comfy .
