Easy accomm. Warm and friendly hosts.
Toilet did not flush.
good evening meals, clean,nice staff
decor slightly dated, noise from ventilation shaft could be heard in the bedroom
They have a Brilliant breakfast. The building is a very old travellers inn & really interesting. There is a pretty terrace for the brief moments of sunshine.
The room we has was above the back door which banged every time someone entered or exited the building. An early morning delivery did not go down well.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful made us feel so welcome. The pub is very traditional and well maintained set in beautiful surroundings and local to stratford where we spent a few hours walking round the shops and the river before setting off home
the only downside was that room was very small the bed was too.
good value Friendly staff Good facilities
Made me a light meal even though kitchen had closed as i arrived late from work. Comfy bed . Good hearty breakfast and good choices on food menu The TV didnt work at first but they came and fixed it within minutes.
The bathroom needs updating as its just a bit tired .
The double room that boosted of beams and beautiful brick walls were no where to be seen. It was extremely small and cramped. The shower room was in need of a complete make over with dirt and grime ground in around the basin and shower cubicle, stains on the wall and door, dust and cobwebs in every corner, nowhere to hang anything and no ventilation. The walls and hand rails on the staircase and hallway where dirty and sticky and I felt very uncomfortable. I was extremely disappointed and very pleased to leave.
Location is good for visiting the Cotswolds, the rooms were comfortable, reasonably clean.
Very warm on a hot day (no AC), best not to eat at the Inn.
Room/bathroom was large & spacious (for money) Staff were helpful & friendly Parking was easy - plenty of space Good basic pub/b&b
Bathroom was a bit down at heel
Breakfast. Trad beers.
Room shabby and bathroom grotty. No wifi.
Quiet location & quiet room, even though it is a busy pub too. Big room with full size bathroom. Excellent food!
Room overlooked car park.
Friendly, helpful staff, not rushed over meals, good food. Have stayed here before & it's as good as ever, a lovely country pub with good food & a nice atmosphere
Excellent place to stay with very friendly staff. Excellent value for money
Having a room next to the fire exit which was used late a night giving us disturbed sleep as the door was banged shut and loud voices of the drunks coming in. Also the room was cold.
Nice food, friendly staff, Good wifi and parking
No hot water on the first morning, quickly fixed though
The position was lovely with views over open fields from bedroom windows. The staff were friendly and helpful and the building was old and interesting.
I thought the breakfast though adequate was quite basic. No fruit or youghurts and the evening meals were expensive for what they were.
Clean room, good breakfast
Stone cold shower, torn curtains, inedible steak at dinner
The staff were lovely and very helpful. The ale was good
I found someone's sock under the bed
Lovely quaint pub, the food is amazing in the restaurant. We were very impressed with dinner and our breakfast which was included in the price.
There wasn't much atmosphere in the pub at night but it was a weekday. The prices of the drinks were a bit on the expensive side as well.
Location , Garden and lnchg
Size of room an slow service
Very friendly staff Comfortable accommodation Lovely meals and service Will definitely return in the near future
It was a last minute thing and was amazed at the welcome we had .Also the room was perfect ...Had a few drinks in the bar ..its a lovely place with so much character ..breakfast was very good ..We have stopped in bigger places but the Blue Boar is very under rated ..Full credit to the people that run it ..Would definitely stay there again.
The stay wasn't long enough.
The ground floor area, e.g. restaurant and bar and the staff who served
The bedroom - small, very basic, extremely small bathroom, very poor and dilapidated shower
Staff and food were excellent.
Room was cold, central heating off even in the bathroom. Noise from either kitchen or cellar air conditioning? on all night, far from pleasant !
Good food, large bedrooms, good beer at fair prices!
Bathroom could do with an upgrade and my room was overlooking the car park which was noisy at closing time however minor complaints for a solid B&B
