The food was very good. The restaurant was nicely decorated for a Valentine's Day evening. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
The spare pillows had no pillowcases and were very dirty and badly stained. I didn't want to know what the pillows we slept on were like?? There was a thick layer of dust on the skirting boards and the water system was very noisy.
Very comfortable nice room nice staff. Great food. Hope to. visit again.
atmosphere of bar area. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The location, service and food were very good, the accommodation was adequate.
The bed was uncomfortable.
The bar, the staff, the locals, exceptional tapas and the genuine hospitality. The French breakfast chef was entertaining with stories spanning years and years..
Nothing to report here really. The bedrooms could perhaps do with a minor makeover but for the money they are fine. WiFi didn't work.
Ambience of the pub and dining room . Large comfortable room. Helpful , friendly staff .
Mattress was old .
Very pleasant staff and very helpful. Traditional pub accommodation but room was spacious and well laid out. Its impossible to keep decor bang up to date so Im not gonna knock them on that. Couldnt hear band from room (12). Very enjoyable stay, thank you!!!
Food bit pricey!
Nice people, well received. Live Music if you like it. Good location, very rural.
The accomodation is quite extensive and the rooms have everything you need. The only thing I thought could be improved upon is that the decor is a little tired in the accomodation areas, needs a freshen up. However, this shouldn't deter as the accomodation is well priced and good value for money.
Location, service in evening love home made chips with meal, service for breakfast & breakfast.the staff were really helpful definately stay again if I'm in that area.
Didn't dislike anything.
Had a great night. Food very good and Staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definateley stay again
Only critique would be rooms and bathrooms a bit tired looking however , comfortable
The food was outstanding, a bit more than we'd usually pay but the quality shows. Staff were very friendly and the pub section was great for a quiet drink.
Obviously it's a bit out of the way, took us a while to find a shop nearby, but that's to be expected. Quite noisy on the Sunday night with Irish music playing until late.
The food was lovely Restaurant staff very nice too. Breakfast was ok
Rooms and decor very basic A bit pricey for what it is really
The pub and restaurant in the building was clean and well-kept with a warm homely feel. Staff are polite and very helpful
There was a leak from our shower in the bathroom which had caused damp to develop on the floor.
Easy accomm. Warm and friendly hosts.
Toilet did not flush.
good evening meals, clean,nice staff
decor slightly dated, noise from ventilation shaft could be heard in the bedroom
They have a Brilliant breakfast. The building is a very old travellers inn & really interesting. There is a pretty terrace for the brief moments of sunshine.
The room we has was above the back door which banged every time someone entered or exited the building. An early morning delivery did not go down well.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful made us feel so welcome. The pub is very traditional and well maintained set in beautiful surroundings and local to stratford where we spent a few hours walking round the shops and the river before setting off home
the only downside was that room was very small the bed was too.
good value Friendly staff Good facilities
Made me a light meal even though kitchen had closed as i arrived late from work. Comfy bed . Good hearty breakfast and good choices on food menu The TV didnt work at first but they came and fixed it within minutes.
The bathroom needs updating as its just a bit tired .
The double room that boosted of beams and beautiful brick walls were no where to be seen. It was extremely small and cramped. The shower room was in need of a complete make over with dirt and grime ground in around the basin and shower cubicle, stains on the wall and door, dust and cobwebs in every corner, nowhere to hang anything and no ventilation. The walls and hand rails on the staircase and hallway where dirty and sticky and I felt very uncomfortable. I was extremely disappointed and very pleased to leave.
Location is good for visiting the Cotswolds, the rooms were comfortable, reasonably clean.
Very warm on a hot day (no AC), best not to eat at the Inn.
Room/bathroom was large & spacious (for money) Staff were helpful & friendly Parking was easy - plenty of space Good basic pub/b&b
Bathroom was a bit down at heel
Breakfast. Trad beers.
Room shabby and bathroom grotty. No wifi.
Quiet location & quiet room, even though it is a busy pub too. Big room with full size bathroom. Excellent food!
Room overlooked car park.
Friendly, helpful staff, not rushed over meals, good food. Have stayed here before & it's as good as ever, a lovely country pub with good food & a nice atmosphere
