The Blue House B&B is a lovely warm, cosy and homely place to stay; with quaint old-fashioned touches in-keeping with the cottage and rural surroundings. The room we stayed in (the 'blue room') was very comfortable and well-decorated with its own excellent shower and toilet room. Tina is a great host who really makes you feel welcome and is only too happy to lay on as much food as you would like for breakfast including pancakes, we really appreciated being looked after there and would recommend the B&B to anyone seeking a pleasant place to stay in picturesque surroundings. Also has free WIFI which was very useful.

    Very little to dislike!

The place was very quaint & cosy, breakfast was good- fresh homemade bread & free range eggs from the owners chicken! Bed was comfy and Tina was very welcoming.

There was a few cobwebs & dust webs hanging around, but probably expected in the countryside and damp on the bathroom walls.

    Very helpful and friendly hostess.

Location may worry some clients. An Abattoire is within 100 metres. Rather dark bedroom. No space in shower to place own soap/shampoo. Strange shower arrangement.... temperature and flow controls were OUTSIDE the shower cabinet. Problematic on-site parking.

The room was bright and comfortable with everything that was needed and more, including delicious home made biscuits. The bathroom was clean, modern and equipped with everything. Lovely breakfast cooked by lovely people (well, Tina). The beautiful 17th century cottage is in pretty, quiet and peaceful surroundings. To be escorted to and from your room by two friendly black Labradors was an added delight. Will be going back next year.

We loved the puppies! Although I guess the presence of puppies cannot be guaranteed always ...

Very homely and down to earth, (which is what we like). A real charming cottage. Cute chickens too! (and dog friendly.) Thank you.

The location was perfect and Tina was a great host. Overall an excellent B&B especially if, like us, you are visiting with dogs. Other good points were the home baked flapjacks and the breakfast - the pancakes were great.

The choice for breakfast and the outstanding freshly baked bread. The hostess was such a lovely lady and so accommodating.

The smoking by another guest right outside the entrance.

Made to feel very welcome by Tina. Lovely breakfast and room was very nice.

Would have been better with a shower rather than a bath but not a problem.

We enjoyed delicious breakfasts cooked just as we liked them. We also appreciated Tina's many helpful suggestions for visiting places in the wider district. The two lovely black Labrador dogs add an extra dimension as do the free range chooks. The nearby village hotel also provides very good evening meals.
