Excellent customer service from start to finish. Questions prior to booking answered promptly and help on site fast and efficient. Fantastic location and lovely, comfortable and spotless apartment. Clearly going the extra mile to ensure visitors are comfortable and happy. Breakfast / free drinks are a nice gesture.

Lost TV connection a couple of times but just needed re-scan and as mentioned this was sorted out, by staff, within minutes.

I loved everything about the Blue Rooms. The locations is amazing and the staff were very friendly upon checking in. We stayed in Room 3 which is the large 1 bed apartment and it was everything we could have ever imagined and more. The apartment is spacious, clean and very well stocked. You get champagne, fruit, fresh bread, alcohol and a fridge stocked full of lovely stuff to drink and cook for breakfast. If you look hard enough you will even find the odd chocolate or three hidden for you to nibble on. We are already planning a trip back as it was worth every penny, even with the geese outside your window!

Loved everything about it. Utter luxury and attention to detail was brilliant.

The apartment (number 2) sleeps 4. Ideal for us as a group of friends on a 40th birthday weekend! Inside the apartments are a really high standard, with some nice finishing touches. Good location for shopping & short walk/taxi ride (for those with heels!!) to the bars & restaurants. Breakfast in the fridge to cook yourself in the morning saved any rushing around, although I would recommend arranging a late check-out. Staff were really friendly & helpful, even came in the car with us to help us navigate the one way system!! We would definatley go back.

Nothing to dislike but could do with larger signs outside, it was dificult to find.

Beautiful studio apartment on the River Fosse within easy reach of York's many attractions. It had everything we needed and was as comfortable as it was stylish. Reserving parking in the courtyard is worthwhile.

Cooking your own breakfast is fine but it would be helpful to know what will/won't be replaced on a daily basis. And checkout time could be bit later given the need to prepare and clean up after breakfast.

I can only describe our stay as absolutely..... flippin..... fabulous. The staff were welcoming from start to finish. The apartment was immaculate. The extras (champagne, beers, gin, vodka, soft drinks, chocolates, fruit basket, food to make a cooked breakfast, fresh bread and much, much more) were excellent. The bed was both huge (queen size) and extremely comfy. There was nothing we wanted or needed that wasn't there. Even a dishwasher and washing machine! Perfect. The location was 'spot on'. Perfect for shopping, bars, restaurants, theatres. I would most definitely stay again. I would consider staying as a couple, taking the kids or even going as a group. I would also recommend requesting a parking space.

Complimentary drinks, bubbly on arrival, cook your own breakfast so not tied into a breakfast slot, gorgeous bathroom, comfortable bed good central location

Having to leave!

I booked The Blue Rooms for my partner's birthday. The apartment was fantastic, decorated to a high level with a luxury feel. My partner was bowled over by the bottle of champagne and fridge stocked with food and drink, which was included in the price of our stay, and he said it was the most comfortable bed he has ever slept in. The free parking place in the centre of York was also a welcome bonus. We would certainly recommend The Blue Rooms and look forward to returning ourselves in the future.

We didn't want to go out into the city centre as we wanted to make the most of staying in such a beautiful apartment.

Location was excellent and very close to shops, bars etc. Fabulous accommodation and lots of little extras including champagne, fruit, soft drinks and Molton Brown toiletries. Immaculatey clean and very nice decor. Very helpful staff.

There wasn't a reception area, it wasn't clear where to pick up the keys from or drop them off.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well set out. It had everything you could want for a stay and the attention to detail was excellent. Location was ideal for exploring the city centre.

Heart of the city location, but still peaceful. Very spacious two-bedroom apartment. Generosity of the complimentary breakfast, drinks, etc. Real value for money. Very comfy beds and linen.

Everything was amazing. Pure luxury. The apartment was beautiful and you were welcomed with champagne and a fruit basket on arrival.

Only downside was the 10:30am checkout time. Would have preferred it to be 11:30am instead.

the apartment is extremely spacious, with a wonderful kitchen and 2 days full breakfast ready for cooking. Very good value for money.

Free parking close to the city centre.
