The owners could not do enough to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. This guest house was exceptional and I would recommend to anyone.
Cannot fault this guest house in any way
From ringing the door bell, to leaving the next morning after breakfast, everything and everyone were excellent. Our bedroom was the same as any hotel and of very high standard. We were treated as friends by Maureen and John and this added to our enjoyment of our break. Next morning the breakfast was brought to our table - everything fresh, everything well cooked and Maureen introduced us to other guests and this meant a pleasant meal time. We would certainly tell people of our stay and to recommend the Bluebell Guest House to them.
Neither myself or my husband could find any fault at all.
Lovely friendly staff who could not do enough. We were in room 3 which was bright and spacious and the cleanliness cold not be faulted. Would highly recommend.
Just returned after a two night break, with my husband. Very clean , comfortable, with a most welcoming hospitality by the owners. Breakfast was first class, they bend over back wards to please. Would return .
rooms were clean breakfast was very good staff were very nice made you fell part of the family will be going back
Everything, Maureen and John went out of their way to make our stay a happy one. We highly recommend them.
Everything. Cup of tea on arrival. Friendliness. Cleanliness. Quality of the breakfast. Fellow guests, all of whom had been before and I am we will go there again.Location. Everything!
Friendliness very relaxed
The hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast very good, and filling. We didn't require lunch. For anyone wanting to get to the seafront it is a good location. Parking not a problem, and easy to find..
The seagulls make an awful lot of noise, so earplugs might be useful. We stayed three nights, and by the third night we were getting use to them. Wifi not good at all, and in fact in some areas the mobile network not good either.
Hospitality and breakfast great.
The cleanliness was exceptional, our room had everything we needed plus extras like toiletries and mints lovely touches. The host were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic!!
We only booked for one night!
despite our v late arrival our hosts were concerned for our safety and health, offering immediate liquid fortification. We were very pleased to arrive and were impessed by this excelent acommodation, a good nights sleep and a very generous breakfast to see us on the way. Hope to return next year breaking the 110 miles in two and thereby having more time to enjoy Bluebell and Bridlington.
Our stay was hurried and too short, all our own fault.
Very modern and clean . The owners were very friendly greeting us with a pot of coffee and soft drinks for the children. The breakfast was excellent with a vast choice. All in all a very pleasurable experience.
From the welcome cup of tea on arrival to checking out the accommodation was top notch. Considering John and Maureen have only been running the guest house for 3 yrs they have got it off to a tee. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast choice excellent. We will definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, will definitely go back
Nothing to dislike
Lovely friendly people and excellent breakfast - would definitely recommend
The staff were very accomodating and nothing was to much effort, we were greeted politley and offered a cup of tea on arrival, there was a space for us to park right outside. They asked us our plans for out trip and asked if we needed a local taxi number, which they kindly booked for us. We were in the superior double on the top floor (so it was very warm) Lovely room, exceptionally clean bathroom and the most fluffiest towels!!! They owners asked what time we would like our breakfast served and we ordered it the night before. And breakfast was just amazing, I had the scrambled egg with smoked salmon on an english breakfast muffin and my finance had the full english, we also helped ourselves to fruit and cereal, it definitly filled us up until late afternoon! We visited the gala and the owners kindly offered to drop us off if we struggled to park. All in all this was a fantastic place to stay and if ever back in Bridlington would stay here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The only issue was with being on thetop floor it was very warm so we had to open the windows to cool the room down, however the seagulls started sqwaking very early which disturbed our sleep. This is beyond the control of the guest house but some fans would be useful when it is really warm just so the windows can be kept closed!
From the moment we arrived we were looked after by Maureen and John by 5 star service Breakfasts service was excellent as was the breakfast. Our room light and airy new decor and spotlessly clean Left feeling like old friends
