The location is excellent, very good Italian resterant near by
No elevator aveliable, you need yo carry your baggage one or two sters up.
overnight lights on the ceiling meant the room wasn't dark
Exdessive street noise into the early hours. No hotel facilities.
A lot of stairs for older couples. No English breakfast
Room was tiny.
it has good location, the staff is really nice
Location & room were great.
Parking quite expensive as you are in the centre of town.
The room was lovely, if small for the price.
The room was on a street of pubs and restaurants, and at half three the night before an interview, I was being treated to dubstep from the bar across the road.
We always stay here when we are in Oxford: it's excellent value for money, the staff are outstanding and the rooms are comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. There is good air-conditioning, so if your room is opposite the bar across the road, you don't need to open the window to cool down and risk losing sleep.
Nothing - never had any problems or issues in multiple stay
Location Staff helpful and friendly Air conditioning!!! Comfortable beds Nice linens WiFi
Entry stairs are tough with baggage
Excellent location. Good hotel.
Very noisy room. Could do with soundproofing
Good Value, nearby hotels would have cost twice as much. Really good location. Public car park was close. Comfy bed. Air conditioning
The road outside was very noisy until 4 in the morning, then shortly after the clean up started. We took ear plugs. The car park was expensive, although their website did suggest using the park and ride, which is OK if you don't need access to the car. The bus stop is right outside.
Location, fixtures, design.
Room small. Bed single. Aircon extremely poor , actually not working.
Location Little extras -hot chocolate, biscuit, bottle of water, nice soap / shower gel. Air con
Very clean and modern. Very nice staff.
No lobby, no restaurant or bar, long flight of stairs up from street - fine, but not clear on website booking. Urban location.
We wanted to be in the heart of Oxford and this hotel was perfect for us. The service was great and the room as very nice.
Excellent location and very nice room
For the price, there should be some form of breakfast facility
When arriving it took us a whole lot of time to recognize the entrance as we were expecting a hotel and not a staircase. So first a long narrow stairs up to a tiny desk which was the reception. It turned out that it was an 'accomodation' and not a 'hotel' the 5 stars being absurd. The room quality was equivalent to a 2 star hotel in Germany. The price of 200€ was absolutely overdone. No elevator, no help with the luggage, 2 long stairs to the second floor with heavy luggage, it was really unbelievable. Never again!
The hotel was central so we could pop back if we wanted to while sightseeing. The room was of a good size and the bathroom was nice.
We didn't sleep at all well. The street was noisy with revellers until around 4.30am.
comfy bed, refreshments hot and cold in room, spotless, hot and powerful shower, central location, very helpful and friendly staff
Clean, comfortable beds. Simple decor. Very central location near pretty much everything in Oxford.
No parking and small noisy rooms
Lovely clean room with modern decor.
The decor, the cleanliness, the welcoming staff.
The floor of the bathroom seemed to be heated, in very hot July of all times-- . A little noise from the street, late evening and then trucks in early morning. But certainly not the worst I've ever heard in city hotels.
