Worth place, tiny room, bad service, nothing can provide. I do really don't like. Ask pay something for no reason.

Shower tray drainage problem. No sink unit space, tv console not working & very little if any internal sound insulation. Parking prices which make a basic hotel incredibly expensive & thats without breakfast as not available in hotel. Would help if voucher was offered towards parking.

I loved everything about The Boacardo and would recommend it to anyone. They went out of their way to give us an early check in, helped by holding our bags after our stay while we did a tour, recommended a good food pub, offered adapters, had quality toiletries, etc. Beds were comfortable, and temperature could be controlled by us.This was a delightful hotel which I would stay in again.

cramped, noisy - even the wall-mirror rattled at night from vibration - no breakfast - access by steep stairs from street. For cheap lodging okay, but at £155 absurdly over- priced

Rooms very comfortable and staff made extra effort to make my room ready early plus looked after my luggage when I checked out!

Thin doors/ walls - I could hear people who had got up very early. Maybe just a simple notice to remind all guests is enough.

Absolute centre of Oxford Clean comfortable room

Very small room. Unable to open wardrobe without moving chair- but nowhere to move it to!

Even though it was right in the centre of oxford the room was lovely & quiet at night. Was expecting some noise because of others reviews & we we're staying on a saturday night, but none.

The staff was wonderful. We dealt mostly with Anton and he was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean.

The bathroom needs some additional shelving for toileteries, both in and out of the shower stall. Please note, travelers, there is NO elevator, which we did not realize beforehand. If you have a problem with stairs, keep this in mind. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place to stay.

A fine place with great location if you just need a bed for the night

There is no breakfast served in the hotel, you have to go elsewhere for that.

Perfect location for exploring Oxford with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and Cafe next door is great.

VERY noisy Air con machine difficult to turn off and once off it takes hours for it to power down which means no sleep because it is very noisy! This is NOT 5 STAR!!!! Poor facilities Poor room condition

Location, location, location. And while the parking situation is difficult, once you get the hang of it, it is manageable. Using the Park and Ride is doable, and convenient, as you get off the shuttle right at the door of the hotel. The room is clean, the bed comfortable.

Not car friendly. But the staff goes out of its way to clarify where to park. The trick is to get in touch with the hotel ahead of time, get a very clear map and very clear instructions about dropping off luggage and using the Park and Ride system. Be prepared to hike luggage about 400 yards when leaving the hotel as while dropoff is convenient, the return to Park and Ride is around the corner down the road.

Excellent staff and service, cant be faulted. A very clean environment. Excellent style of room and decor. Perfect central city location.

Stairs no lift, however not an issue here as staff would help with pram etc at every opportunity.

We wanted a clean, convenient place-- with a stall shower, not a bathtub--to stay for one night in central Oxford. The Boccardo delivered on all counts.

Didn't like the hangars in the closet.

Location was Very central, comfortable beds, very clean.

Extremely noisy. I'd expected noise as its a city centre location, so I took ear plugs, but our room was opposite a loud bar which played extremely loud music until 3am, we were also by reception and the phone sounded like it was in our room! Got hardly any sleep unfortunately.

The room and bathroom were comfortable and very warm (perfect after the wicked cold weather)

Nothing to actually fault, but not exactly our idea of a 5 star hotel.

You were immediately warmly welcomed.The service at reception was outstanding at all times. Charming but non-intrusive. The room was warm and very clean. Instructions to use the wifi were laid out clearly. Plenty of coffee was available.

The stairs were steep, though there was immediate help with my luggage.
