Great hotel in city centre location within walking distance of most attractions - nice room, excellent food and drink, pleasant, attentive staff.
Away from heavy traffic noise. food was excellent
Unfortunately room right next to lift
Beautiful location & hotel. Breakfast very nice.
Had a basement room..bit disappointed as specifically asked for room with nice view. Even though room itself was stunning our view was of the carpark. Can be noisy early in the morning when staff are working in storerooms.
Superb bedroom very spacious, lovely bay windows, good bathroom.
We booked the Bonham for a treat for our daughter and son-in-law after their wedding day and they absolutely loved everything about it. The staff and the services were excellent, and it made what had been a wonderfull day that little bit more special, thank you.
Friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Clean and comfortable room.
Breakfast was very good but the dinner very disappointing and very overpriced.
Lovely old victorian building. great room Breakfast was good staff very helpful
All staff were very helpful and attentive excellent
Big beds, but not as comfortable as they looked
Lovely room and great location.
Breakfast was ok but not as good as on previous visits. Service was ok but has been better. Some staff really friendly and helpful but not consistent so could do better as well.
The location and my room which was upgraded with huge comfy bed. Also had a lovely bubble bath complete with glass of Prosecco!
The rather surly receptionist on duty when I returned from a wander round town who left me to find my own waiter to take my drinks order even though she had said she would sort it! I was left waiting 20 mins!
Size of room and bed
Lovely breakfast,Great location. Helpfull staff what more could you ask for!!
Central location and great breakfast. Good value for money.
The room was fairly warm with little ventilation available. No fans were provided on request. Rest I believe it was a good experience.
Convenience to city centre shops and restaurants.
Ridiculous old electric kettle which had to be turned off manually at the mains.
Relaxed atmosphere Quality towels Cleanliness Excellent staff
Having to queue for breakfast
This boutique hotel is simply lovely - the rooms are great, the breakfast incredible and dinner not bad either! Great location close to the castle, shops and museums. Service was efficient and polite - and the choice of whiskies in the bar after dinner was delightful.
Parking is difficult to access (narrow alley and driveway) and not clearly indicated. Stopping in front of the hotel to ask Reception where the parking is, you do risk getting a ticket...
Excellent boutique hotel close to Edinburgh city centre with friendly attentive staff, good food, clean and comfortable bedrooms
Parking close by is very expensive. Try and get into the hotel car park (entrance via nearby lane)
Great quiet location with parking and a lovely room with a great view. Very comfy bed with feather pillows and a delicious breakfast. What more could you want in a fabulous city like Edinburgh. We will be back..
Will strongly recommend.
Stylish and well conserved hotel in a quiet yet central neighborhood.
Check-in time is rather late when traveling with little kids that need their rest after lunch.
I waited over an hour for a sandwich from room service (ordering at 9.45 pm). Despite continued promises that it was on it is way - it wasn't! I eventually cancelled and went hungry. No real apology or effort to put this right
Central location, free parking, friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast, reasonably priced
Wifi patchy, no temperature control in room.
The easiness of the arrival, parking, settling into our room, getting to princess street-the whole stay was effortless. Free wi-Fi and 24 hr bar were bonuses and could use the car park for the remainder of the day even though we checked out at 12 noon.
the 24 hour bar had very limited stock of vodka product.
